TazMan Posted November 14, 2011 Share Posted November 14, 2011 Is there a place on the Forum where one can learn 'How to use the Forum"?? 1-What's the difference in the use of "Quick Reply" vs "Post a Reply"? 2-What is the purpose of marking a Post as "read" :mad: STOP !!!! Save your fingers. I found most of the answers in the USER CP section. Just was not pushing enough buttons!!! Quick is a response at the bottom of the forum, your editing options are fewer (see the icons at the top of the box) but you don't have to leave the screen to make the post. Posting a reply opens a new window where you have the full editing options plus the sidebar with smilies. Essentially the "Light" and "Full Calorie" versions of posting... aside from what they let you add/change they'll both do the same thing - allow you to respond. 2-What is the purpose of marking a Post as "read" If you mark a post as read then the "CLICK HERE FOR NEW POSTS" link at the top will no longer display it until new posts are made.
