bigred vette
Since the Gen2 pads are considerably bigger then the gen1 pads, should i move the speed up a little to make up for more of that rotating mass?
0 Nitelord
I don't think an increase in speed is needed. The PC doesn't care about the difference on pad size. Once it's up to speed, I don't think it's working any harder with the larger pads. I would think business as usual. Use the same technique you did before, just cover a little more ground is all. IMHO... I'm not an engineer, so I could be mistaken. :pc:

0 GerryC
I don't think an increase in speed would be necessary because while the Gen2 pads have a larger diameter, the Gen1 pads are thicker.

0 Adam
Hi Brian- I typically use the PC with the Gen2 pads at the following speeds: Swirl & Haze, removing moderate swirls with the orange Swirl Killer Pad: 5-6 Fine Machine Polish w/ white Fine Polish Pad: 5 Machine SuperWax w/ black Waxing Pad: 3-4 Using adequate pressure and speed it key to getting desired results, and stay tuned for a new video, being edited now! Thanks, and post additional questions and I'll answer quick!

0 Adam
Everything is a work in progress Brian, and I'm learning as much from customers as we are teaching. As soon as we feel like we have a solution, we try something new, and 'WALLA' it's better with a slightly different process or chemical! That's life, and the best stuff and process on earth is only the best for a few minutes, before it's improved again.
