Sorry, another vinyl stripe question.

I have a 2012 Camaro. It is a pleasure car, that is kept in my garage when not being driven. I have read all the info about fixing scratches on your stripes, cleaning swirls, removing wax, etc. What I want to know is that if you just clean them often and you don't have any issues with them, do they need a "protectant" on them? Something to protect them from the elements, and sun.

For the mostpart Phil they'll be fine without treatment in your case simply because its not daily driven and you keep it garaged. In situations where the car would be exposed to the elements and risk damage I'd say definitely treat the stripes.

Thanks for the quick response. And if i did want to treat them, probably a vinyl/rubber product with UV protection, like VRT would be what you would recommend?
