Pureshine
I prefer IPA just because I've been using for years.
Z71_Denali
denatured alcohol is extremely toxic and usually has special dyes in it to differentiate from standard IPA. its essentially ethanol with a mixture of other additives and behaves much like gasoline. its a better fuel than solvent. isopropyl alcohol's main use is as a solvent or cleaning aid, which is why detailers use it to remove polishing oils. IPA is also safer, and the fumes are less potent than denatured alcohol. and like gasoline, if you use it to clean the paint, it will most likely leave a dull finish which will require polishing once more. goheels
:iagree:use IPA if trying to decide between. Personally, I like to add a few ounces of APC to my wash soap to strip old wax/sealant.
