I think I feel Adam's hand in my pocket;). going to delve into PC polishing and am planning the following atack method.

 

3 vehicles, maroon Chevy K1500 (1998 guinea pig), white VW Croutan and a silver Volvo S80.

 

strip wash, clay, SHR (where needed), FMP, and then super machine wax.

 

I plan on that being it for the summer and then adding a coat of Americana for the winter. I want to do this right, however with three larger vehicle I have to be efficient as well.

Sounds like you've got the right idea. I did a 98 maroon K1500 last weekend.

 

Also, it's called MSS now, the old name is Machine Super Wax.

Even though its the summer, I would still put a coat of Americana. Americana can be used all year round. a Tub of Americana lasts a very long time...at least for me...

Why not glaze then Americana?

You have the right idea going but I would change just one thing. For summer I would do Americana or Brilliant Glaze followed by Americana. Right before winter I would clay, fmp followed by 1 if not 2 coats of MSS. Just my .02

The guinea pig is done....HOLY S@#T, the truck has never looked this good. I'm amazed. for anyone contemplating this the best way to learn is to do it.

Exactly, watch the videos and then do it, I achieved a 80-90% correction on a very neglected truck that works (ie gets scratched and really dirty) first time out, the other two cars should be butter compared to the truck. Awsome stuff, and I/m OK with Adam's hand in my pocket:lolsmack:
