estecoca Posted January 2, 2009 Share Posted January 2, 2009 I have an 06 Tacoma DC Sport , Inigo Ink. I love it when its clean. Ant other Taco owners on here? I am interested in cleaning the engine and bay (similar to what Adam does to the Suburban in the DVD), but I am concerned about wetting it all down. Anyone have experience with cleaning this engine? GXPaycheck Posted January 4, 2009 Share Posted January 4, 2009 I have a '95 Taco ext cab. Traded ex-wife #2's little red sports car for it. Still has a great base shine but I have been told the clear coat is gone. Tried my new DA on it with some sealer and glaze. Came out pretty good! Chewy Posted January 8, 2009 Share Posted January 8, 2009 My buddy just traded his 2006 taco in on a 2009 taco and he's never had any issues with this. Most newer cars are OK to do this on.
