Machining Technique. Newbie here.

So I went ahead and ordered the PC and a bunch of pads as well as the 4" pads and adapter. I did not go with the severe swirl polish and pad because I don't think my projects are that bad. If they are then I'll order what's required. My question is; When you are using the swirl and haze remover with pad do you continue moving until there is no residue remaining or is it best to leave a bit and then buff out with MF towel? Same with the machine polish, super machine sealant, glaze etc etc?? Thanks, my ocd is kicking in big time LOL.

You work each product until it flashes, you can tell when product flashes when it looks clear or Vaseline looking.
