Metal polishing with the Flex?

So I have a 1000 gallon alluminum fuel tank that needs to be polished, and im trying to avoid doing it by hand! Is it possible to use Adams Metal polish 1 and 2 on a 7" pad with the Flex? Im guessing the white pad would be the best choice from adams line. Anybody have an idea?

Should work, but just be prepared to sacrifice those pads. After polishing metal I'd never use them on the paint again. I have some white 4" pads like this from before they came out with the blue metal polishing pads.

Yep... any pads used should then be designated exclusively for metal polishing, but you can absolutely use the flex to polish metal.

I used the PC to do 18 wheel rims. Used a yellow pad I had sitting around.
