Advice for stubborn water spots

ProfileX

Question

I just recently bought my first Adams products, and I'm looking for advice on some very stubborn water spots. My car was about a year old when it sat outside in a hotel parking lot for a couple days, and I don't know if the lawn spinklers use swamp water or acid rain came down but there were some serious water spots that made me sick to my stomach.

I have a Griot's 3" pneumatic orbital, which I think works similar to the Flex polisher by combining oscillation with rotation. I used a clay bar and Griot's machine polish #2 (the second most abrasive). I tried white vinegar after reading the water spots FAQ here: http://www.adamsforums.com/forums/general-detailing-discussion-questions/14737.htm

The spots are a lot better but I can still see them under the flourescent light in the garage and even though most people can't see them it really bugs me. But I'm not a professional and I'm worried I might damage the finish if I try any harder.

Advice?

Should I buy Adam's severe swirl remover and maybe the Flex polisher?

Should I take it to a professional?

Or should I just stop looking at it under flourescent lights? :)
