help me build my garage

Recommended Posts

OK so I wanted to get a tire rack and some cabinets for the garage. The tire rack wont work because it stick out too far. The cabinets will but not sure I will like them because you wont be able to walk around the car on the side that the cabinets are on. I have a little indent on the back wall where I could put something. I don't want anything too fancy/ expensive but want something where I can put products and other misc car items. Here are a few pics any suggestions welcomed. Thanks :)

Seth you could buy some of these and build your own work benches.  If you don't like the wood look you could also paint them.  Some 2x4's a sheet of OSB and some screws and you could have some shelves/benches that are bomb proof and to your dimensions.

A Beer Kegerator underneath a workbench in the middle with a tap on top .Lol!! .

Tires on the sides of the Kegerator and some storage cabinets above it that lock to keep your detailing products

I know the Kengerator is too much $$ but it would be pretty cool

you just gave me an idea for my garage. since my new pool area is limited on space, i can stick a kegerator in the garage and run the tap through the wall into my backyard!  :D

I would use that pushed in corner space for a pull out twin bed for those late nights you need to take a quick power nap while your sealants cure. Or for when you just want to fall asleep looking at your nice clean ride!

Now that's an idea I love....the wife may not though.

I think I will try to build something for side and get a tire thing like Gerry C was talking about for the indention. Now what color to paint the cabinets lol.
