Holder
The owner of the CTSV I completed last we was so impressed with the results of his Caddy he had me come back to clean up his 2011 Porsche this week with only 1700 miles. His words when I was done, "I didn't know you can make a car shine like that". http://www.adamsforums.com/topic/24000-ctsv-wagon/ I'll start off by saying this was a very interesting car to work with with a lot of different types of surfaces to deal with. The interior is covered in alcantera and carbon fiber mixed with some leather. The exterior had 2 different types of paint protecting film. One being clear and the other was a matte fot some reason on the carbon fiber hood and mirrors. So I cleaned the leather parts of the interior with TID then brushed or fluffed up the alcantera with the Adam's interior brush. Some areas of the alcantera i used a little carpet claner to removes some stains. The exterior I started with a 2 bucket wash dried her off and brought her in the shop that, lucky for me, was air conditioned. After claying all surfaces including the glass and paint protecting film I taped off all edges with Adam's Professional Detailers Tape. All the paint protecting film was polished with Revive Polish and a Blue Hex Grip App. Then I did a test spot and determined that the best method to get this Porsche perfect was the Adam's PFP with the White Microfiber Pad. The Foam Pad just didn't 'cut' it for how hard the clear was. I had a few ares that need a 4" focus pad and drill but overall this car was in great shape. Finished her up with Brilliant Glaze over everything including the glass and even the matte film them applied a coat of Patriot Wax. Then Bam finally a smile on the owners face. Early morning Pre-Wash pic. The lights in the shop made it difficult to capture the swirls on camera but trust me they were there and made the entire car look dull in person. Interior, though clean, took forever. I never clean up the trunk on any car but this one I figured why not. Before any glaze or wax My attempt at a cool picture THE Mook and Redbeard

Holder
That shift lever looks awkward. It's temporary till he has the new knob made. When it's done it won't be that long. But it is a sequential shift so it's not that awkward just push forward to downshift and back to upshift.
JHL88
i think you should make a disclaimer in your contract to your customers saying " I claim the right to a test drive after detailing is complete". Just a thought.
Holder
i think you should make a disclaimer in your contract to your customers saying " I claim the right to a test drive after detailing is complete". Just a thought. With this owner all I have to do is ask. Just not after they're detailed. He doesn't even want to drive CTSV in fear of getting it dirty. ForceofWill
So nice! I wish the CF parts didn't have that matte bra on them though. Would look so nice all shiny.

Holder
So nice! I wish the CF parts didn't have that matte bra on them though. Would look so nice all shiny. Thanks, he has tasked me with removing the matte paint ptrotecting film and applying a clear film. I told him I've never done it before but I've applied large decals. He says,"I trust you, You can practice on his CTSV." Edited June 25, 2013 by A_HoderSS Periodic
