datsunzcr
Well I finally bought my son the car of his dreams... A 7th generation Celica... I think that I kinda blew his mind... Anyway... The person that previously owned the car never washed it... never waxed it... and left it out in the FL sun... it was dirty and mildewy to say the least... previous owner washed it before we got it... kind of! So this is a tale of restoration (as best we could - some of the clear coat is gone on the fin and two different areas on the hood) and renewal! We used all Adam's products: clay bar, detail spray, swirl/haze remover, revive hand polish, quick sealant, buttery wax, and brilliant glaze. We used the Total Interior Detailer and glass cleaner on the interior. It took about two hours with two guys (one being the son) on the exterior and one gal (being the mom - me) on the interior... Before photos: Nasty headlight There was mildew around the whole back end of the car. After photos: Clean headlights! Happy Man and his new ride! Look at that shine... and yes, we got the headlights cleaned up... did the same to them that we would the paint... they were gross to say the least. The rims are trashed - we are on the hunt for original ones. The interior needs a good steam cleaning, but the surfaces came up nice and clean. Nine years of dirt came off the windows (then had never been cleaned). We still need to go at some thing with a toothbrush, but this is a great start! Thank you Adam's for making it so easy to make a 13 year old paint job look as good as it can!
