clear plastic polishing

Gone in 60

Question

I'm looking for the best way to polish the slight scratches out of my motorcycle's plastic (lexan) windshield. The scratches aren't big, and are really only noticeable when I'm riding into a sunset, but for me, that's coming home from work every day.

I've used Mothers and Meguire's plastic polishes by hand, with so-so results, but any advice would be very helpful!

(also looking to polish the clear plastic gauge face on my old Mustang...

Thanks!

Indeed, something to shine and restore plastic this way comes!! ;) In the mean time, so you know, using a clay bar and Swirl & Haze Remover, followed by Revive Polish is VERY effective at clarifying hazy headlights.

Just my $.02!

:D

Found this in another thread. This process should take care of your fine scratches.

Welcome to AF. Take a look around. There is a ton of info here.

Enjoy the site.
