etalian
Hey guys, just thought I'd drop in here and say a few words. I'm finally starting to get detailing...more than just shopping for stuff at O'Reilly's from now on. Did a lot of research on FordRaptorForum.com and finally decided to buy the Essentials Kit, Quick Sealant, Extra Bucket with Grit Guard, and some extra single soft towels. The weather here has been raining ever since my products came in (of course), but I'm hoping that I'll be able to finally do my detail next weekend and test out the new Claybar. Anyway, my current vehicle is my brand new 2013 Ford Raptor. Tuxedo Black Metallic with all the bells and whistles. I specifically had my dealer not wash it and I finally got to give her a bath the other day. Just a simple 2-bucket wash and Quick Detailer. The shine is insane. This truck currently has no wax or anything on it and the metal flake is so visible and bright that it almost makes the truck look dirty for a split second. That said, I'm super please and can't wait until I can really spend some quality time with this truck and do a Clay, Polish, Seal, Glaze, and Wax on it and really get it protected because I definitely plan to do some wheeling with her! Looking forward to being a member here and learning some tips from the pros. Pictures of the truck to follow. Nick
