Was My Car Even Clayed?!

Just got my car back from a $400 "ultimate" detail that supposedly included claying, waxing and all that jazz. I was curious when I got home so grabbed a baggy for the hand and ran hand over various parts, still feels gritty... Is that a sign they did not clay it? Is that test reliable??

I know this is off topic, but camaro2ssblack, is your Silverado in your signature lifted, or is that 33's on a leveling kit?

33's and 2.5" front leveling kit only. The angle of the pic makes it look a little higher than it is.

I know I'am a little late, but here is what I would do.  I assume you probably have some clay.  If not you could even go by your local automotive supply store and pick an off brand up.  I would take the clay and go down to the place that did it and demonstrate the baggie test on an area that has been clayed and another part of the car that they claim was clayed.  And have him explain why, and see what kind of back pedaling he starts to do.
