bewbzout
Are there any of adams products that can't handle cold temperatures? It doesn't get crazy cold here in oregon but my garage does see Temps around 30 degrees. Thank you
0 pirahnah3
sounds like a log splitter is more in order for you then, would certainly save the wear and tear on the body and pay for itself in short order with that level of splitting,
0 LFairbanks
You should get a pellet stove. I'm sure there is plenty of raw material for the pellets in Alaska. Your wood shows up in 40 pound bags. Edited November 30, 2015 by LFairbanks

0 LFairbanks
Im trying to work one of those into my house, just finding a good spot is proving difficult. What is making it difficult to find a good spot? An exterior wall makes installation super easy. I put mine in myself. The neighbor had a core drill and punched a 4 inch hole in my foundation for venting. Mine is in the basement.
0 pirahnah3
the window locations make it about impossible, they are awesome as far as letting light in and makign the rooms feel open but finding 6 inches to put one in is a pain. ie my living room is about 14ft wide and has about 10ft of windows on each outside wall. That would do it. The shorter you can keep your venting the better. Not only for cost, but operation. 0 pirahnah3
we are looking at a fireplace insert unit, i know there not as good but its about the only space i have really. Live in an old late 1800s farm house that is well laid out to function but headting other than usting forced hot air is a problem
0 LFairbanks
They do make pellet stove inserts. Is that what you were referring to as a fireplace insert? http://www.quadrafire.com/Browse/Inserts/Pellet-Inserts.aspx#

0 CMDChase
Getting back to the question, I keep my products at room temperature. You have a lot of money invested in these products. No need to take any chances of them getting ruined because of storage reasons. LFairbanks
