Krzdimond Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Netscape forces me to download a PHP file to access the forum (only adams... all others are fine) Try to download, and nothing happens. In IE, I can't see some of the pictures (C6Z51BANDIT) that have been posted. Troubleshooting process used. IE 7.0: No pics from nina. Logged off, logged on. Same. Cleared cookies, cache, and history. Reboot the machine. Same. Firefox: Can't log on at all. Replaced the HDD with Linux, no change. anyone have a solution?
estecoca Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 You can't log-on with Firefox? I experience the same issues with nina's pics (have yet to see them), but I can log-on with Firefox and Safari.
bigred vette Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 i was having the same problems about a day ago. except i couldn't view anything, every time i would click user cp or new post it would try to download something. its gone now though.
Bill-V8V Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 I was having the same issue for a couple of days. The server guy just had me reboot after he fixed up the problem on the server and i don't have the problem anymore, Have you tried rebooting ?

That was the problem on Saturday, but it was fixed by Saturday evening. You shouldn't be seeing that issue unless somehow you have the website cached. Nobody else is having that issue right now. So, I think it's residual. If you clear everything out or try a different browser, it should be fine. Also did you try the new Firefox 3.0.7? http://www.getfirefox.com
Krzdimond Posted March 10, 2009 Author Posted March 10, 2009 I'm using 3.0.7 with updates. Cleared cache and cookies. No change. I can use IE, but I hate Microshaft. As long as I know it's on my end I can fix it. Worst case I'll nuke firefox and reload.

Have you also tired to make a new user on your computer and try Firefox using a different account?
chris308 Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 had that issue sunday. i just waited a few hours and tried logging on again and got through. using firefox as well.
Chewy Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 I had the same problem but it's gone now. I think it's an Adam's problem as none of the other 3 VB sites I belong to do it. Chris
