jabo_pf
My coworker and I are going to be polishing and waxing his car over the weekend. 1) When using clay bar, is it better to use detail spray or waterless wash (if possible)? 2) After polishing, we are going to use LPS. Can I use Ceramic Prep instead of 50/50 alcohol solution to wipe the polish residue off prior using LPS? 3) This is his daily driver. After applying LPS, we are going to apply Americana and then Brillant glaze. Would this be overkill for his DD? Thanks.

Detail Spray, but diluted Rinseless Wash is more economical (not exactly the same as Waterless Wash) You can dilute the IPA down to about 20% (water to IPA) for the wipe down. But Ceramic Prep will have some lubricants that the IPA solution will not. Overkill - NO! I would suggest BG topped with Americana. It lets the extra 'pop' from the BG last longer. 0 TexWalker
1. Detail spray 2. Don’t know, but alcohol is way cheaper. Why spend the money 3. Glaze and Americana will look phenomenal, overkill is up to you. But apply the glaze first, Americana over it. It will last longer

0 jabo_pf
Thanks for everyone's responses. We already had coating prep, so I might as well use it. I will post pictures of the results.
