Swirl Killer 21 vs 15

Dr.Chris

Question

I am looking to invest in my first polisher.  Just got a 2017 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk and the dealer treated it very poorly. Swirls and a few scratches.  I also have a 2011 Subaru WRX hatch. Now that there are 3 models to choose from, I'm not sure which swirl killer I should start with.  Is the 15 going to be discontinued?  Will I have trouble getting pads in the future? I was going to pull the trigger this week with the "black firday" discount, but I'm just not sure where to start.  Thanks for any suggestions...

The 15 won’t be going anywhere and the sources for pads is endless. A 15 will be more than adequate doe what you’re trying to do. While having more power, the 21 will not fit into some tighter spots. We have a Rupes 15 and haven’t felt the need for a bigger polisher, even having done as large of a job as an RV.

A great option is the package that’s the 15 and the mini. It’ll get into anywhere you need to go for the most part.
