livingwater Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 What do you use to wipe down the windows after spraying them for cleaning. ALL of the microfiber towels seem to leave very small fibers on the glass (some more then others). The best thing I found is newsprint.

0 Bill-V8V Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 You didn't see loose fibers on the window glass after using the waffle? Nope, I do get them if using a regular MF towel but not with the WW MF. But every windshield is different
0 Nitelord Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 IDK, My MF towels get washed a lot. I don't get any lint left on the windows.

0 Loud Pedal Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 Nope, I do get them if using a regular MF towel but not with the WW MF. But every windshield is different :iagree: The super plush MF leaves lint on mine also so I use the waffle weave with no problems. I even use the glass cleaner with paper towels sometimes, sounds crazy but it works great.
0 clipser Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 Lint? That's weird. Try washing your towels before you use them.
0 Bill-V8V Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 It's not so much lint as it is fibers, they are tiny and, with mine anyways, I had to catch it in just the right light to see them

0 JJ1o87 Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 I've posted this a bunch of times but windows are my personal hell. I cannot achieve great windows and believe me I've tried it all. Microfiber always leaves little fibers behind. Adam's towels not so much but my other costco brand microfiber towels shed like crazy. Best bet is to use adam's towels. Do they shed on your windows? yes. But do they shed to the point where it will drive you insane? not so much.
0 GXPaycheck Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 I found some great, fine microfiber towels at a local supplier. they are the best on windows. Even use them on eyeglasses. Might be a great new item for Adam's! Got them at: Majesticsolutionsinc.com
0 GerryC Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 I have one of Adam's old microfiber towels (white with black stitching) that I use solely for glass, and it doesn't shed at all.
0 6spdg37s Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 i hate cleaning glass, but i use newspaper to clean windows wen ihave to do them..i also havent cleaned my tinted windows on any of my cars ever...i think its cause there so dark it doesnt matter if theres dirt or not u cant c out either way
