direct sunlight and hot surfaces have never been an issue for me with BSG...but I have dark blue and green cars, not black....I imagine its still the same story, however

I still like using all of the products on a cool surface. It keeps them from drying too fast while I'm working with them. If you have to work in the sun, I suggest you keep some detail spray handy for any product used on a pad.
