I first heard about these products on a Stang website, sponsor. So I looked around this site, found the videos and even learned a thing or two from watching.

I figured if I learned something I should at least give this detailer a try. Typically I have products my own detailer sells, but I wanted to see what all the hype is about and my stash was getting a bit low.

My car - Natasha,, LOL...participates in lots of shows and has retired from being a daily driver. We got some body mods, new painted stripes. I use my Escape for a daily driver and I experiment with products on that ride.

Can't wait to get my mini trial sizes and Adams clay bar. When I watched the video I was unaware of different grades of clay bar. Now if I can just get my convertible top really perfect again. My detailer could not get all of the discoloration out. It's not horrible, but it's not perfect either.

So I will take off and see whats on the Forum threads.

Hey Sharon, welcome to the forum! I'm about 20 minutes south of chicagao.

Hi! I'm from Glen Ellyn. I know where you're at. FYI-There is a twilight car show tomorrow in West Chicago - Augustinos SW corner of Rt 64 and Rt 59 all make.

Spent all day working on whatever parts of Stang that wasn't fresh paint, noticed my clay bar was real low. Remembering Adams is a sponsor..I just thought I'd start trying this product line.

How long have you been using these products? And I'm going to guess you luv em....tell me in your opinion, why they are better? I would love to get the power polisher but very afraid I'd wreck my paint.

Been using Adams for a couple years now. The reason I stay with Adams is first, their customer service, I've never delt with any company like this. Its the only company I know of that the owner will give out his personal cell phone number so you can call him if your having any trouble while working. Second is the ease of use I get with Adams, for example: Buttery wax, spread it on nice and thin, wait for it to cure and it wipes off with almost no effort. The BSG is the same way, put it on thin, wipe it off and instant "wet" looking paint.

And don't be afraid of the PC it will be one of your best investments! You can't harm your paint with it either. Maybe one day we can meet up and I'll show you how to use the PC.

First off, welcome to Adam's Forums! :hi:

Allow me to add to what Brian has already stated. These products work, plain and simple. Take a look at this thread. This is a 05' Mustang that showed up at our booth were I was doing a detailing clinic for Adam's. I fixed that car with nothing but the same products you can get from Adam's website. If a paint job in this kind of condition can be saved, your car will be a cake walk. It is all in the technique. Once you get it down, you won't use another product. :2thumbs:

Man...I just saw that thread..... It looked just like Brillo was used on her.....how could anyone get their car that scratched up? Fortunately I have no issues like that, LOL however I really wish there was something to get my top cleaner. My detailer used a "M" product number 40,, to clean the vert..it cleaned some but not all of the discoloration. I have a parchment top I'll have to post some pics..this is the 1st weekend it hasn't rained...been raining a ton in Chicago-building an Ark in the garage.

Thanks for the welcome

Seriously, if someone could show me how to use one and practice, I'd get one. Maybe after car show season....

All you have to do is watch my videos. I explain in detail how to use the polisher. Or, you can come out to any of the Adam's detailing clinics. The big Corvette gathering called Bloomington Gold is about to happen next week in your backyard. Not only can you come out and stop by the Adam's booth, but you can get a hands on demonstration on how to use the PC (as it is called). Plus, you can pick up all the products you need at a substantial savings, with no shipping charges!

It's a huge show with deals like you won't believe. I'd be there if I were you!

Are you kidding??? OMG I just went to the site..I didn't realize it was next weekend. I have 2 car shows to do....however MAYBE I can get out there Friday night. I want to see a clinic. Times for each clinic? Where is your booth, and are you inside or out? I definately want to try and squeeze this in. Hey want to work on a convertible top? Hahahaha

We are outside and are very easy to find. Just look for the big Detail Spray bottle.

The clinics usually run at 9, 11, and 1:PM. In reality, I'll be doing clinics all day long. As a matter of fact, some days I don't even stop to eat... it's just one big all day clinic. People are always asking questions, and I'm constantly giving demos. So if you come, you'll get a demo. Guaranteed.

As for your top, I'm not a specialist. Paint is my specialty. My top comes off too but it's painted. :D

Welcome to the forums Sharon nice to see another mustang owner here. The reason I use Adams over the other guys is the customer service and these forums. Not to mention they make some awesome products. Brilliant Spray Glaze (BSG) is defiantly worth a try. I ordered the starter kit too and before it arrived I had placed my 2nd order. The microfiber towels are also worth every cent. As for the polisher I haven't even been using it for 3 months. So far no damage, only corrections. Some time down the road I plan on getting a rotary polisher, but the PC polisher that Adams sells is your best best as a beginner. It's easy and safe.
