0 Greencat Posted August 11, 2009 Share Posted August 11, 2009 I'm not 100% certain it was the cause but my applicator started falling apart after I had cleaned it with full strength APC, rinsed it and put it back in the container. I don't think I'll try to repeat it with the new applicator. I'll be cleaning it with a less than full strength mix next time and will not be storing it in the wax container. The only and last time I cleaned in was with the APC cleaner and it did the same thing that yours did. I dont think i will clean mine anymore!!!! 0 GerryC Posted August 11, 2009 Share Posted August 11, 2009 I've cleaned mine with full strength APC after every use and I have had no problems with it "disintegrating" I know the app doesn't 'get dirty' but I found that if you don't clean it out good enough (or at all) the wax in the app will dry so that the next time you go to grab it, it will be as if you just squeezed a bottle of talcum powder. I like to clean out all of my applicators and sponges after each use so that they are as clean as possible for the next time I need to use them Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
