FMP and water

I'm a novice at polisher operation but I read an article where some one was using water with polish and an orbital polisher.

I am going to use a PC with the FMP. Can I wet the surface with water to aid in the lubrication or should I stick with a spray of detail spray before I polish?

I would stick with the DS!

use a lite DS onto the pad then put a X mark of the FMP and move ur PC slowly back and forth, up and down, side to side ect.
