SoCal Shop Guy
Just a quick run down on what's been going on . . . when Super Car Sunday got broken up from the strip mall on Valley Circle in Woodland Hills it got divided in half. Muscle cars and mostly American (some Porsche) go to Western Bagel in Northridge with an average turnout of 50-100 cars. Exotics (Lambos, Ferraris, BMWs) ended up going to the empty parking lot on Ventura Blvd behind the Coffee Bean (in Tarzana). Turnout usually 10-40 cars. I've been to both and the one on Plumber has more of a hang out feel to it. Just stand around and shoot the breeze about cars. Doesn't matter what you drive. Now that the Tarzana location is moved back to Woodland Hills maybe it'll get big again. Abe www.socalshopguy.com
SoCal Shop Guy
I just ran into the organizer of this event this afternoon. The old landlord of the shopping center on Valley Circle is suing him and he had to close his coffee shop! He organized the event from his coffee shop, Village Coffee Roasters. Last week at the new location, Jay Leno showed up with a Bugatti roadster and there were 200+ cars. Abe www.socalshopguy.com
