How to remove grease?

I know, you must be thinking, what is grease doing on my car's finish? Honestly, I have no clue how grease got on my finish. I've tried APC and it didn't do anything. I have Goof off but i think that will goof off my clear coat. I just need to know what is the safest way to remove grease, with minimum damage.

Spray WD-40 on an old MF towel, wipe gently. Throw towel away, and re-wax section.

Ok thanks guys! I'll give that a shot. I really didn't want to ruin my wash pad just to clean some grease

I've used goof off on 3 different vehicles without issues. It was great for removing that extra bit of paint left on your clear coat from a scratch, or if you mess up using touch up paint.

 

It doesn't seem to eat the factory clear coat. I've done it on my Camry quite a bit.

This is what I used on mine. The grease actually left its mark on/in my paint. I had to use a spot pad to remove it.
