This was the worst pet hair I have ever come across. I spent about 3 hours getting up about 95% of the hair, I would clean off an area, come back 2 minutes later and there would be even more that showed up. The hair sitting on top was not an issue, but quite a few hairs were stuck in the fibers of the seat and they took forever.

So for "Fathers Day" I will be getting some additional lighting for my garage. I think I am going to order the below 2 fixtures to start and add an additional 2 later. What I do not know about is the type of bulb. I want the daylight feel so I am not sure if the highest "K" number is the best. It appears to range from 3000-6150K's. I know the larger the number the brighter the bulb, but I know it might not necessarily show all the colors as true as they are. What do you guys use in your spaces?

Ran out of detail spray! Any alternative to spritz on pads?
BitterGreg replied to gbod's question in Paint Correction & Polishing
Need to check out Kevin Browns report on Pad Priming, and Supplemental Wetting Agents, also known as residue control. It is 39 pages of extremely detailed info on all types of situations. He primes the entire foam pad with polish and then adds a few dots to work into the panel. He will then spray the panel with distilled water to reactivate the product, not the pad. I believe this is Mike Phillips and quite a few others process as well. I do not spray Detail spray or any other product besides water, no need. I have not personally seen anything Detail Spray provides that water doesnt other than the scent. -

I do not know if it makes any difference, but I only put 1.5 - 2 oz of shampoo in my cannon, use a slow flow of warm/hot water to fill it 80-90% full, turn it upside down and right ride up 3-4 times and lathers up perfect to more than cover our sedans. -
HELP! Horrible hard water spots!

Here is the most popular option I have seen. There are more cost effective options as well, but I am not sure how durable they are. http://www.crspotless.com/ -

I am going to blame this on Americana. Serious question though, they were on there for quite some time, what are the chances they were eating away at the wax? -
How to best clean my daily day to day.
BitterGreg replied to pirahnah3's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
The sealant will help the bugs not stick nearly as much. My wife takes out boys to her hometown every month or so when I have a job that will take much of the weekend. She would go up there and back and would have 30-40 bugs all over the front. She has gone up there two weekends in a row since I last wash&H2OG&G, ans she has come back with a total of 10 from both trips. They seam to almost bounce right off. When there were really bad I would spray them with Rinseless 1:6 or another bug spray, soak a handful of towels in either hot water or Rinseless solution, lay them on the problem areas of the car to soak, and they would normally just wipe away -

Question? When you have protection on your car, do water spots have to eat through the protection first before it eats through the clearcoat? If so, how long in theory would you have. I have been able to get water spots off of paint with an AIO, that have been on there for months if not years. -
this was my thought. The gash does not go below the sidewall depth. I assumed the tires were made this way to help protect the wheels. I will be getting it replaced, but it took about 1.5 weeks last time I had a wheel touched up.
