I have had a tub of Americana since it first came out. I have done countless cars with it and I too have encountered the opening and closing problem of the container. I think this causes air to enter because the other day I went to use it on my vette and when I opened the lid, the wax was cracking and in big chunks. Needless to say I am devastated that I may need to get a new tub and my applicator is on its way out. I still used the wax I just primed a regular foam wax applicator with some detail spray before I went into the tub. We need a daily special for Americana or I need a present for my birthday that was March 6th

I believe I have the Gilmour I think, I use it all the time and everytime I wash my wheicles. It will knock off the heavy dust and without scratching. I leave the foam on the vehicle for atleast 5 mins. Then 2 bucket wash as normal and no swirls are introduced into my finish. I have had the Merino wash mitt now for a week and a half and have yet to use it! Want to try it out so bad!

I want to order the Flex and complete my cabinet full of Adams! however on the site I don't see where I can order just the Flex itself! Anyone lead me to where it's at or should I just call?

Where can I get that Microfiber cleaner? sounds like an interesting product..however I will also be getting some new towels soon since they made better ones and hopefully some of that good Americana paste wax!

Well that explains why two of my towels scratched the car the other day..like an idiot I did everything you basically said not to do! I will have to give this your wash method a try

Ok I have not been using rags..my fault on the wording, only Adams MF on my baby..It has to be the wash technique..however I did call Adams the other day and Ashle explained how to get them out and it worked perfect..had to go over the car twice and three time in some spots but they came out..I wash the car like everyone said top to bottom and I wash the black first on top just to be safe..I got a new pad and drying towel from GBVette in Suffolk,Va..I dont know what else to say but we will see when I wash next time cause its looks perfect now and after getting it all off I Fine Machined polished and then superwaxed it!

No pics....it might be a rag who knows..I drive it everyday...how do I go about removing them?..also I usually wash the rags after each use

My car is two toned white and black, I spent 9 hours a couple weeks ago with SHR, RP, and BW and it came out perfect..now I am getting surface scratches! How can I get those hard ones out?! PS- I have a porter cable with gen 1 and 2 pads

First off I have to say Adams is by far the best product I have used since I started detailing cars at the age of 16..I got my mustang painted last summer and well the black color choice for the top is finely starting to fulfill those statements people say about black vehicles. HAHA!..well I see spider webs and fine scratches nothing deep just surface scratches..I tried to resolve the problem with just fine machine polish and white pad but no luck it made it shine even more but only took out some of the scratches and spide webs..shouls I try the orange pad and the SWH remover? also I am thinking about just starting all over next week and washing the car with dawn dish detergent to remove everything and just spend a day doing the car..starting with SWH, then revive, fine machine, and then butter wax..if someone could tell me the speed settings for the steps I am going to do please let me know..I am no amateur with Adams and the porter cable but I am alittle stump with these spider webs and swirl marks...Thanks Chris..GO NAVY!
