I'm starting to think that's the case. Maybe the dealer applied some crap in the interior, although I asked them not to.. I guess they used some powerful cleaner :-/ Whats the best way to remove any previous product? 1:1 diluted Leather & Interior Cleaner? I've been told that stuff is too powerful for a new car..

There's no streaks. It's just that theres a greasy feeling. I'm aware that Total Interior Detailer is supposed to leave something behind (the protection layer) but should it still feel greasy days later?

Used the Total Interior Detailer for the first time last week. Is it me or does this stuff kind of leave a residue? I (lightly) wiped it off after with a clean microfiber utility towel but even a few days later, I find theres a kind of light residue. Only to the touch though like that slightly greasy feel. You can't see any residue though, it just looks freaking spotless! Did I just use too much? I never sprayed directly on the interior, always on the utility towel. I'll probably keep using it, but I feel like I want to use something else on my steering wheel. Parts of my steering wheel is perforated leather too (which seems to make that grease-feeling worse).

Bump! I'm also interested.. any word on when we can order empty bottles again?

rikki08, looks good! Did you polish too? It's because of TheRyan! He showed us how amazing our Focus ST can look like and now we've all come running to Adam's products to try and get close to that shine :-P I'm doing mine tomorrow :-D

Looks awesome :-) It looks like you put conditioner on the seats. What did you clean them with? Leather & Interior Cleaner (diluted or regular) or just Total Interior Detailer?

Thanks guys ! Gerry, just to clarify, can I still use the Leather & Interior Conditioner after the Total Interior Detailer ? Or is that also overkill? Unfortunately, polishing isn't an option for me. I live in a condo so while I can find a place to wash down the car.. finding one with a power outlet seems next to impossible. Even if I was able to find one, I wouldn't really be able to maximize that. I'll see if I can get the dealer to skip washing the car. I was a little concerned as I might have to wait a few days after taking delivery of the car before I can wash it, so I figured their lousy job would be better than having all that rail dust and crap sitting on the car for a few days. Btw, is the Total Interior Detailer and Leather & Interior Cleaner safe on chrome and metal?

Ok so I'm new to the whole pro detailing thing (noob here!) so apologies for the "dumb" questions. I've got my Adams products ready and my new car should be arriving next week so I'm already planning out the first wash (signs of a serious car addict?). I've already watched all the videos (except for polishing). Here's what I've got planned, hopefully i'm on the right track :-) Exterior: 1) Wash Wheels (All Purpose Cleaner + Green Wheel Cleaner) 2) Wash Car (2 bucket system) 3) Clay Bar Car (without drying) 4) Re-Wash Car 5) Dry Car (applying Detail Spray + using waffle weave towel) 6) SuperVRT plastic trim 7) Apply Quick Sealant (tempted to do 2 coats… worth it or wasteful?) 8) Apply Buttery Wax 9) … 10) PROFIT??? But I still have a few questions: I) I hear a lot of people talking about strip washing the car. Do I need to do this? Isn't clay barring enough? This is coming from the factory (I dunno what the dealer is applying but I doubt they're going to wax it.. I didn't pay for any protectants). II) I'm going to use SuperVRT on the outside trim. But what about the inside rubber seals (weatherstripping) around the doors? Can I use SuperVRT on this too? or is this meant for the Leather & Interior Conditioner? For Interior: I have the Leather & Interior Cleaner, Leather & Interior Conditioner, and Total Interior Detailer. III) This is a new car, do I need to use the Leather & Interior Cleaner before the conditioner? It seems that the cleaner is very strong, perhaps too strong for a new car? Maybe something milder like Total Interior Detailer to clean the car before applying conditioner? IV) I'm planning to apply the cleaning+conditioning to the entire interior (steering wheel, dash, plastics on door, etc etc everything except carpets)… any issues with that? Thanks in advance

Damnit guys. Added the Quick Sealant to my cart, before you know it.. I had 220$ worth of stuff. That's my third order in 3 weeks... I should be pushing to get some free swag lol :-P Anyways, thanks for all your posts !

Damn the red applicators are out of stock :-( Whats the difference between the blue, yellow, and red applicators anyways? Does it matter for the Quick Sealant? The video seems to use the Red one...

Hahaha, I guess I just need to trust in it's voodoo magic right? Well, I've certainly been mesmerized by the videos and other people's work using Adam's products so I suppose I can take the leap of faith with the sealant. Of course this means I'll be making another order. Damn you all, I hate this forum. :-P Oh and I do have some of that buttery wax from my last order (came in one of the kits). Any harm in applying that over the Quick Sealant during the warm months? I know it won't last nearly as long.. but I hope that won't hurt the Quick Sealant lasting the whole winter? Thanks guys

Ok so I'm no expert, but the idea of protecting my car with a spray seems somewhat odd? Am I crazy? I mean how can a spray evenly cover the paint? Aren't pastes/liquids better? With a spray, I feel like I'd put too much there, not enough there.. and it's so clear (from the videos) that I wouldn't even be able to tell where I applied it. Can that stuff really last through the winter months? I can't re-wax/re-seal my car during the winter... The alternatives seem to be the machine super sealant (not an option -- I live in a condo), or some competitor product. Thanks
