  1. From the album: 2003 SSS- First Polish

First polish after purchasing truck- my first real polish after buying a flex
  2. Possibly, but one washing with hidden dirt in your wash mitt could create enough swirls where you may need that. Or you may do such a good job on your own that family/friends will ask you to do theirs
  3. Use it up, or you could always sell it if you know someone else who needs it. Just because they came out with a new 2 step doesn't mean the old stuff is junk, it's just going to take a little more time (technically the same amount if you didn't know about the new stuff). I also bought my flex earlier this year with plenty of polish left, I'm going to use it up until I am out.
  4. I saw the poster on the site, but does it just show the basic steps? I couldn't tell by the picture. I thought about buying it just to add to my garage art I mean more like the things we learn beyond the basics. For instance, I have a cheat sheet with little things I ran into on my wife's tahoe that I read on the forums. Like polishing water spots out of glass, or which grit sandpapers to use while correcting headlight lenses that have failing UV coatings. I guess it would be kind of an undertaking to take the collective knowledge of this forum and put it into one place
  5. I am sure this has been covered, I didn't find anything on the topic. I think it would be cool to have an iPad app or similar with all the videos, and even quick tips, and instructional info built in. A direct link to info while detailing if needed. Or even a nice laminated book with pictures and the such with instructions and tips. I believe that would be useful when knee deep in detail spray I saw on facebook a catalog was posted- but was unsure on the content of it
  6. Yeup, used iron-x, wow that was horrible. The smell came through bathroom cleaning gloves
  7. My first usage of TID was after I had previously used the leather conditioner on the dashboard on our tahoe. It left it blotchy until it knocked the sheen down from the conditioner. Now it leaves a nice streak free matte finish
  8. LOVE IT! I sealed and waxed my SSS back in May, I am due for a re-wax, but need to go deeper on the polishing. So last night I laid a coat of glaze to bring the shine back on my truck to hold me over a couple more weeks. MAN does this thing shine! My Adam's arsenal never seems to let me down! Brilliant glaze is worth every penny every time I use it
