  1. I FINALLY got this one back- customer was super busy with work. SO needless to say, that oil set in for a good month. It turned out great. I used CAU cleaner with the horse hair brush lightly. Wiped lightly, and dried with my sidekick. It was still there slightly. So I tried the all purpose cleaner on hidden spot, then used on the stain. Worked it lightly with the brush again, wiped and dried. That did it! Only it made a clean spot, which seemed with be a stain. So I ended up cleaning the entire bottom of the seat, and he was really happy with the way it turned out!
  2. Initially when I posted this, I felt it was the air freshener. Turns out, there was a spill in the back, and mold was starting underneath the carpet. I went through airing it out in in the fall. Pulled the carpet up and sanitized. Sadly I was thinking a diluted vinegar would work. Well it worked with the mold. Now I am combating the left over vinegar smell. LOL. This is nuts The only thing that helped with that. I pulled the carpet loose so I can get underneath. I used an entire box of baking soda. vac'd it up and that helped. But to be honest, what is helping the most, is the refrigerator pack of arm and hammer. I leave it sit for a while. Shake it up every now and then, and that has been helping with the vinegar. It's mostly gone now. I may go over every surface with the TID again to remove any smells that may have landed- Headliner included. Many lessons learned on this one.
  3. I use it diluted on running boards on my wife's tahoe. Full strength I felt it does make it slick
  4. It's a customer's vehicle, which is used as a company truck- So in a couple years it will be rotated out with a new one. Would the Microfiber revitalizer do anything as a pre-soak? or is that primarily used for detailing related cleaners and waxes? I searched but couldn't come up with anything on the forums. Just thought since it releases solvents, would it safely release oil off of fabric?
  5. This is on a 2010 f-150 with the light gray cloth interior. Somehow got oil on one of the seats. It's not used oil, but new looking oil. Just enough to discolor. Planning on saturating with CUC and use the horse hair brush to rub out lightly. Since this was a newer truck, would a Microfiber revitalizer do anything as a pre-soak? I never used it on anything but my towels, but was curious how it would handle the cloth fabric in a truck? BTW this is not a grungy work truck- it is kept very clean so anything will show on these seats
  6. Love me some subies- Finally got me an outback a couple months ago- Keeps the SS in the garage where it should be
  7. It was my mother in law gave it to my wife. She finds it difficult to buy her gifts and wanted to give her something. I went around and cleaned every surface I could with TID, then the leather with LCC. Cleaned the glass and vac'd. It smelled better when I left it. Next day it was still there, but at least it was clean inside I ordered some Ozium spray, and the absorbing tub. I'll try that when it comes in.
  8. Thanks guys, it's time to clean the inside again anyways. We'll give it a shot. Hopefully it goes away!
  9. A family member gave my wife a pumpkin spice air freshener for our tahoe. The smell wasn't that bad until now. I guess it is leaving an after-smell as it is reaching the end of it's life. The smell to me is musty, like water getting inside. It didn't smell like that at all until this AF came into being (both of which do not care for AF, but it was a gift). I have been leaving the windows open to vent it out, but it seems it's not leaving without intervention. Could the TID help with the smell, or is there something else I need to try?
  10. I love the quick sealant, question on wheels though. I used QS on my chrome SS wheels, and I use APC on the tires, will that strip the QS off the wheels?
  11. How much more product do you go through with 1 wash using the foam gun? I have been looking to get one as well but never used one before.
