  1. I always kept my vehicles in top notch shape but like many of you, I was using WalMart and auto store products. When I was wounded in Iraq and Medevac'd back to Colorado I was going stir crazy after my surgeries and all my physical therapy. I needed a new kind of therapy, one that would be me feel good mentally.

At the time I belonged to a group called Dodge Truck World. After reading a bunch of forums posts I came across a company named Poor Boys. I used some of their products for a little bit and from there I moved on to Chemical Guys. CG had good products but way to many to keep track of. It wasn't until I watched a Junkman's video and then that's when I discovered Adams. That has been over 10 years now and I haven't looked back. The only products to touch my vehicles for the past 10 years has been and will always be Adam's Polsihes.

  2. Good morning all,

I have the following that I won't be needing since I have multiple bottles:

Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner - 16oz

    Paint Sealant - 16oz

    Brilliant Glaze - 16oz

    I'm looking for:

    Leather Conditioner

    Wash and Wax

    H20 Guard and Gloss

Let me know and I'll get this stuff out in the mail tomorrow.

  3. Do you guys use T&RC only when you need to do a 'deep clean' or would you use it regularly like on every wash?

I did a wash about 4 weeks ago and used it. As of 3 weeks later my tires were still a deep black. I used it again this past week because I wanted to put on tire shine. I would just go by if your tires need it or not. You'll see a change in color over time. Then I would use it again or if your tire shine is fading.

  4. Looks great Rob !!!!!!

Just be careful using vrt on anything you are going to step on, it looks great but it is really slippery

One perk of us all being tall is that we don't use them. LOL. The truck isn't that high where we need them to get in and out of it. The only time I use them is when I wash the truck so I can get to the roof. Good looking out though. Thanks!!
  5. Looking to create a signature for my posts. Does anyone have any helpful hints? I'm not the greatest with photoshop but I 'm up for a challenge. Thanks,

  6. I finally gave my truck the love it deserves. A few weeks ago I detailed my wife's Murano and this weekend it was my trucks turn. I had some new products that I haven't used before and needless to say I was blown away by the results. While I was doing my thing I had my oldest some using VRT and In and Out spray on the trim and then I hear "Dad, look at this". Immediately panicked because I didn't that was going to be good. Without me knowing he used VRT on my step bars. I have to say that they came out awesome!! Nice deep dark shine to them. My son can't clean his room but he took the initiative to do that so I was pretty happy.

Overall it was a great morning not only cleaning up my truck but hanging with my son doing guy things. Plus I learned a new purpose for VRT.

  7. Welcome back Rob!  If you decide to go with the PC again, you will be pleased at how the 6" pads work over the older, larger pads.

Welcome back Rob, good to have you back.

It's great to be back!!!  I tell you what, I missed this forum with all you guys.

  9. Hello everyone!!

Long story short, in these past 3 years I've hit rock bottom when PTSD related depression and anger kicked in. Thus why I've been AWOL from the site. I've been getting back into some sort of normalcy and doing things that I've enjoyed doing in the past. Being a good husband to my wife, good dad to my boys, detailing and mountain biking. I feel so much better but I'm still a work in progress.

Thanks some amazing generousity I am getting my product collection back together. In the near future I will be buying a new polisher. Since I've been gone for so long the pads have changed. When the time comes to buy a polisher (I really want the Rupes Big Foot but will probably have to go with the cheaper PC) I have no clue what size pads to buy. What size pads will work the best since there are so many now?

So much for a long story short. Sorry about that. Thanks for the help!!

    Rob
