  1. My 2 and a half year old loves to go through the car wash. We have a fairly good car wash here in town that I use when it is too cold to was by hand. Well he is sick today and on the way home from the doctors office he asked if we could go through the car wash. I had planned on hand washing both cars by hand today because it was sunny and 80 here. I said sure, we can go through the car wash. We get the Yukon washed and all is well, or so I think. This evening I was washing our other car when I noticed scratches all over the back of the Yukon. Sure enough the car wash scratched up the Yukon! I just shook my head, grabbed the PC, swirl killer pad and S&H and went to town. Fixed it right up. I will check the rest of the Yukon tomorrow. The Maxima got the hand wash using the Adams Car Wash and looks better than new. My son is feeling better this evening and I won't hesitate to take him through the car wash again the next time he asks. I just can't wait till he gets a little older and wants to help me hand wash the cars instead of going through the car wash.
  2. Finally we got a break and had a nice weekend. We bought this car about 3 weeks ago and I have been jonesin' to give a good polishing. It had quite-a-few minor surface scratches all over the car (mostly on the roof and hood). I spent the majority of Saturday polishing the entire car. I started with APC to the tires and wheels then a decent wash. I say decent because my Adam's car wash will not be here till tomorrow. I then clayed it using Adam's clay bar and detail spray. Then I started with a orange pad and swirl and haze remover. I then went to a white pad and Fine Machine Polish. I then waxed the entire car with Buttery Wax and finished it off with Brilliant Spray Glaze. VRT on the tires and my Saturday was spent!
  3. It is 32 here right now. We got 6" of snow on Sunday! 6" of snow shuts things down around here.
  4. No doubt! Where is all this global warming we keep hearing about?
  5. You are so right! The whole gang at Adam's Polishes seems to love helping their customer. Such an awesome characteristic to see in a company and Adam's sets the bar!
  6. Great thread, Doug. I will be glad to pray for you son as I do all others that fight for our freedoms. Please tell him "thanks" for the job he is doing over there.
  7. Awesome job! Black is so nice when it is nice and polished like that.
  8. I just ordered a gallon of the car wash shampoo! Come on warm weather!
  9. Thanks guys... Bill, if it last 6 months I will be very happy! I did put some buttery wax on there as well.
  10. I recently bought a 2007 Nissan Maxima 3.5SL and it needs a bit o paint correction. Very fine scratches throughout the car. I worked on the roof a little tonight and got a majority of the scratches out. i will go back and review the Gen2 video to see if I can work all of them out. I have been reading up on the 6th Gen Maxima and one thing that owners are complaining about is the chrome trim that goes from the trunk to the hood above the door frame. The trim tends to tarnish and looks like crap. A lot of owners have gotten the trim replaced under warranty but I am not sure that is the cure all. Mine looked that way too till I hit it with S&H and the PC. Looks great now! Not sure how long this will stay shiny, but... Anyone know how I can keep it looking nice and shiny? Before: After:
  11. New to the forum and thought I should introduce myself. I just got my Adams order in the mail tonight and can't wait to get to work on our "new" car. Anyway, not new to Adam's but I am new to the forum. Thanks Adam and company for making such a great product and providing such great customer service.
