  1. I love my cyclo. It's the smoothest polisher out there and with the two 4" pads it can get into alot of tight spaces a 6"pad cannot. The cyclo makes a good one polisher solution and can also run scrub brushes for dual duty . It's all metal construction is built to last and made in the USA.

  2. Thanks for the heads-up. I've gone back and forth between purchasing one and not purchasing one. I also feel like if I'm going to do it, I might as well get a mid-level product for longevity - particularly because that Cyclo is expensive!

it is but it's very smooth and comfy to use and is extremely well built . It's certainly not the most powerful but it's no slouch either. It can handle anything I throw at it it just may take an extra pass to get there, which is fine because A, I'm not in a hurry ,this is a hobby for me not a business and B, because the goal for me is to leave as much clear as possible on my finish.i don't think you will regret the purchase of any polisher honestly there is just so many uses for one
  3. That just might be the right answer for me! I'll probably sit on the decision for a while.

keep an eye on the garage sale section . Guys may sell to help finance and upgrade to a more powerful machine. The cyclo is not quick to wear out so u can get a good deal. That's how I got mine and I couldn't be happier . Gl
  4. Did you even look at the (nearly two year old) video TheWolf linked?  Adam CLEARLY explains his philosophy about various product's country of origin.  The Swirl Killer's product page clearly states the units are "Made in China."

Everybody's got an opinion and you're welcome to yours.  In mine, Adam is being honest when he says "made in USA whenever possible." Dwhite0960 nailed it - one of the key performance parameters for this new polisher was PRICE.  Unless you can point to a comparable polisher at a comparable price that's made in the USA, you should stop casting aspersions. Adam is NOT "lying to his customers." He's meeting the demand for a decent unit at a lower price point than other manufacturers offer, while clearly telling would-be buyers where it's made.  Each is free to make an informed choice about whether to purchase or not.  Stop grinding your axe and go back to polishing your car.

of course I have watched every video Adams has made . They don't change my opinion of the matter . I grind no axe I just call things as I see them .I honestly like adams products but I am no fan boy. on many occasions I have recommended his stuff on many other forums even those that don't sell adams .I will also add that never once did I recommend a product here that is a competitor to adams. I will continue to use adams stuff as long as it continues to be high quality at a price that's justifiable. I've spoke my mind and I'm done now so I won't reiterate my pervious comments and go back to polishing my car lol.
  5. Made u the USA , Is a very powerful marketing tool. One that Adam has enjoyed for years and one that speaks to may people particularly to Americans .I don’t have a problem with companies selling Chinese goods, many do and it’s very often way to get a cheap knockoff version of the real thing. This is great for those that cannot afford the real McCoy because it gives them an opportunity to improve there polishing equipment from something like a Porter cable . The problem for me is that Adams sells his goods under the premise that he has a moral code ,one that doesn’t support products made in countries that don’t offer fair wages and safe working environments for their staff . If he wants to sell a polisher made in china don’t care . But imo he has to stop saying made in USA whenever possible because he has his name on the tool and chose where to have it built . I’m not saying ppl shouldn’t buy this tool or that it won’t improve people’s polishing experience ,all I’m saying is that going forward Adam should by rights change his marketing tactics , so he is not lying to his customers. Adams products are of high quality and I’m sure this new tool will be fine .he has also been quite transparent about where his stuff comes from which I respect for sure . I’m not going to stop using his stuff ,I like them as do many of his customers .

  6. I'm interested in how the Ceramic Boost fits into the Adams product line as a stand-a-lone product.

For example, our daily driver has a few weeks old strip wash/Wheel Cleaner decontamination (paint did not need polishing) /LPS followed 1 week later with a Wash and Wax, and another week later a risnseless wash.

Is the next logical shine/protection step simply another Wash and Wax? Or a layer of wax such as Americana? Or maybe H2O G&G? Or maybe some of the new Ceramic Boost? Or...?

What are the trade-offs in terms of shine, protection from elements, ease of application, longevity...

someone from Adam's I'm sure will chime in but in general the booster is kinda like a spray wax that matches the composition of the hydrophobic properties of the coating . As the coating starts to wear off u can top off the coating with the booster thus extending it's life , just like a spray wax does for sealant . I would suspect the wash and wax to do a similar type of thing
