  1. i went to the online store to order some products but I don't see any deep wheel cleaner in the gallon size like I did a few weeks back. also was going to get a hand pump to fit onto the adams gallon size wash jug but can only find those in a 6 pack. but I seen that also a few weeks back..

do you not carry them anymore ?

  2. thanks guys.. now its time to start looking and comparing.. I am the type who likes to have things to make my life easier and do a better job so its not big deal for me to spend the money. hell I spent 7k on a stainless steel ride on spreader and sprayer to take care of my 42k sq foot yard. spreads fertilizer and sprays for bugs.. man that was a great investment..

so spending a few dollars on a machine is no big deal for me.. and yes I want the paint to pop whats the point in having a black truck if you can't show it off..

  3. its summer time in south fl. but in a few months It'll be fall and will be cooler down here and I need to get my black super duty truck's paint looking good. was looking at some machine polishers are these a needed thing is there a benfit to having them? over hand polishing or just speed and a better finish..

was looking at the flex is that a decent one? thanks

  4. I cleaned my truck this weekend and it has plastic trim along the bed rail which I used the super vrt and of course it rained later that day and it looks it ran down onto the paint after the rain. I don't think I used to much but maybe I did. any other tricks to keep it from doing this or does it just sound like I used to much? when I applied it I put some on the gray sponge folded it both ways then wiped it on the rails. its not like I had it dripping off the rails of had it on so thick it was clumped up on the rails..after I was done you couldn't see the vrt on there meaning you couldn't see any white stuff just the nice slick shiny rails..

  5. DWC is a de-ironizer and attacks metallic particles from brake/rail dust that may have embedded into the clearcoat. APC is a degreaser and does not remove these particles. New cars may still need this treatment, just like they would need to be clayed. When in doubt, use the baggie test. Regardless, decon before clay will make claying easier and safer, as you're removing the metallic bits touchless, before dragging clay across the paint.

Marcus, I use DWC to decon my G8 (ungaraged daily driver) once a year. I spray it on a wet car after washing and rinsing. I only work in a few panels at a time because you don't want to allow the cleaner to dry. Once it "bleeds out", I thoroughly rinse the sections and move on to another part of the car. No wiping.

    thanks for the info...

  6. I got a bucket kit in the end of 2007 beginning of 2008 well I used it for maybe a yr or so and stopped bc of some personal issues. I am getting back into using the stuff. I looked at the born on date on the bottom of the bottles and they were all made in the nov of 2007.

what are the chances of this stuff no longer being good? I know the wash looks ok but some of the glazes and waxes and clay bar don't look so good...

  7. hello everyone. I am a new member on the adams forum but have bought there product a few years back..

great stuff getting back into taking better care of my black and gray 06 ford 4dr super duty.

I didn't get anything for a yr or 2 bc I was getting it done here in town and could really never find anybody who could hand wax it without getting wax all of the plastic trim or get all of the wax off so I gave up and will just start doing it myself again..

just ordered a foam cannon and some other stuff from adams I was out of stock on.. I washed it this weekend with the pressure washer didn't turn out bad but would be a lot better..

I am think in the fall I will give it a good detailing with sealant and wax.. this will give me something to research over the summer and figure out what tools I will need to make it a better process bc this truck has a lot of surface to wax......
