  1. Sad I didn't get any mints new or old in my last two orders.
  2. Thanks for the review! I received the tough towel in my last order and can't wait to try it out.
  3. Would be very costly to ship gallons but a concentrate would be awesome or a tablet that could be added.
  4. As said above I would be afraid of them being too brittle or hazing over time.
  5. I have not tried a tar remover yet as I was hoping it would come out with goo gone or rubbing alcohol. Will be picking up the Tarminator tomorrow to try out on it.
  6. OK guys sorry to bring up an old topic but I have been away for work and never got a chance to report back. The Goo Gone did not touch the stain and was wondering what by next step should be? This winter weather has kept me from doing a full detail and I want to get these stains removed soon when I do the full detail.
  7. I have already sealed the whole truck with Liquid sealant and a coat of buttery wax so its covered atlas until I can get the stain off. I didn't anticipate the stain being hard to remove and didn't want to stop the whole process for those two panels. I guess it can wait a few days until I am off again. What kind of pads would be best to get the stain off with? Something with a slightly abrasive texture?
  8. No I ran out of time and didn't get to go by the store to buy anything more abrasive. I was thinking some type of tar remover would be best but wasn't sure.
  9. So I purchased my 2014 GMC Denali 1500 at the beginning of he month and it has rained a tremendous amount since I brought it home. After doing a full detail yestersay I still have this residue on the bottom of the fenders. It has small brown spots that is inbeded inside the factory paint film protection or whatever you want to call it. I tried soaking it with APC and then tried the clay bar and it didn't touch it. I'm guessing I need a harsh cleaner?
  10. Great looking truck. Here is mine when the first picked it up. Looking forward to giving it the total treatment his weekend.
  11. Thanks for the help. My only last question is do I need to dry the car after the wash before doing the clay bar or can I start while it's still wet? Im guessing I need to dry it and use the detail spray so I don't get any water spots.
  12. I already purchased the whole wheel cleaning kit and both the tire brush and the fender brush. Just wasn't sure on the Polish for them. Thanks
  13. So I am supposed to get my third order in this week of Adams products and I am about to do a full detail of my new 2014 truck. It has around 2500 miles on it and I am finally ready to make it shine. After researching the forums and watching all the videos on here I just want to make sure I am getting the steps correct. I am doing this all by hand right now but plan to order a machine soon. Tire and rim wash 2 bucket wash with car shampoo Clay bar with detail spray Cover car with brilliant glaze Liquid paint sealant Buttery wax Covering tires with tire shine Are these steps correct for a truck that is a daily driver and sees all the elements? Between washing the car and doing the clay bar do I need to dry the truck and then use detail spray with the clay bar or can I go straight to claying when the truck is still wet? Also what is the best product to use for making the chrome rims look their best?
  14. I have watched the videos several times now and will again before its time to detail the truck. It has rained every day so far since I picked the truck up and will be for a few more days. My first mystery box arrives Thursday and hopefully my main order will be here then as well. Can't wait to see how awesome the products are.

  16. Ok guys have a question. Here is what I have added to my cart and was curious if there was anything else I woupd need right off the bat? I also ordered a mystery box hoping for some goodies. Essentials kit Extra wash bucket with grit guard Leather conditioner with two red ufo pads Liquid paint sealent Red wheel brush Microfiber applicator pads Microfiber white towels My only question is do I need the double soft towels or the regular towel for drying and buffing?
  17. Thanks for all the help. I just got my truck last week and it has rained every single day since then so I will be needing my Adam's products soon. This will by my first time tackling a truck like this and no I have never properly sealed or polished a car before. It is a white diamond color so I am hoping it won't show swirls or marks to bad from outside sources. I will be watching the videos over and over again to make sure i do everything correctly and will be saving up my money to buy a proper polisher soon. This truck lives outside most of the time so I want to keep it looking sharp.
  18. So I am about to purchase a new GMC Denali and need some serious help when it comes to buying new products to clean and protect it with. I never researched this much with my previous truck but I am wanting to start off with the best for this one. I cleaned out the garage and will be starting from scratch as far as products go. Any help would be appreciated. I do have leather seats so I know the cleaner and conditioner is a must.
