In my opinion the best wheel cleaner on the planet is Einszett 1Z ColorTec. Spray on and let it sit for 3-5 minutes and spray off. For heavily soiled surface or lots of contaminents might need to agitate. This stuff not only cleans but removes iron contaminants. It changes to a deep purple to let you know its done and ready to be rinsed off.

I have a 1st gen Griots 6" Oribital polisher. I must have bought it 12-14 years ago and it works just great. It's not worth much to sell so now I just mainly use it for my nano scrubber. I now own the Rupes LHR15ES and I absolutely love this thing. If you can't find the budget go with the Griots. Like you I have always taken the more natural progression on my upgrades.

Definitely someting I want to add to my "bucket" list. LOL
I currently have 3 buckets but looking to replace my smaller Chemical Guys buckets soon. I'll probably be grabbing 4 new buckets in the next few months.

I'm currently using a foam master II. I really need to pony up the cash and pick up a pressure washer. I will be going with an electric model as well. I'll be grabbing the Kranzle K1122TST. It's only 1,400 PSI but it's all I need for for the vehicles. Additionally, it's rated a 2.0 GPM.

More than likely rail dust. Before I break out my nano scrub I usually spray some Auto Finesse Iron out on the vehicle. Depending on the severity you may see it begin to turn purple. This should remove it.

It's flawless in my opinion. Only draw back to me is the smell. I'm always open to trying different products..that's half the fun im detailing.
