  1. I bought my Camaro about 3 years ago and spent a lot of time on the Camaro5 forums. I'd always had used cars with many miles on them and the Camaro was the first new car I'd owned, so I wanted to get a little more serious about taking care of it rather than driving through the nearest automatic car wash. Adams has a presence on the forums and I saw that several people had great things to say about their products, so I figured I would give it a try. I bought the two bucket car wash kit and never looked back. The mystery boxes were a significant help in building my arsenal over time. The products are amazing and speak for themselves. The videos and this forum have taught me so much, and I'm thankful for it. That's why I keep coming back for more.
  2. The wheels on my Camaro get covered with brake dust almost instantly when driving, so keeping my wheels clean is a chore. I use Quick Sealant on my wheels to keep them protected, spraying it on the entire wheel (front, back, and inside of the barrel). I do this once in the spring when the summer wheel/tire combo goes on the car, and once in the fall when the winter wheel/tire combo is put on. Both sets of wheels get the application each time. Then I simply maintain the wheels with Car Shampoo at every wash (use the red wheel brush on the face of the wheel and the wheel woolie on the barrel). Keeping the wheels sealed allows me to skip using the Wheel Cleaner on a regular basis. I only use the Wheel Cleaner when it's time to seal the wheels, so that I know I've stripped the wheels completely. I haven't noticed my tire cleaning regimen to significantly affect the sealant on the wheels, even when using APC or the new Tire and Rubber Cleaner. If it looks like the sealant is starting to wear down, I can always hit it again with the Quick Sealant since it's so easy to use. Thankfully I stocked up on the Quick Sealant when it was discontinued, so I've got a nice stash to keep me going until Adams releases a new replacement (fingers crossed!!!!).
  3. Yeah, I understand that there are major differences in the products' longevity and protection. In the past I've always had a base coat of Liquid Paint Sealant topped with another brand's paste wax. I plan to continue using Liquid Paint Sealant as my base, so protection isn't really a concern. But now that I've got a few other options (buttery, brilliant glaze, and H2O G&G), I wanted to get some feedback on which ones would add the most shine/enhancement. I thought it might be a nice reference thread for others as well.
  4. I'm trying to plan out my first big detail of the year now that it's getting warmer outside, and I'm debating which products I want to use. With the plethora of products available from Adams, it's hard to tell how they all compare in terms of shine. I know that waxes generally produce more shine than sealants, but H2O G&G produces a lot of shine too. And then where does Brilliant Glaze rank? Or Detail Spray? Here's my best guess after researching the products. I haven't used all of them yet to find out for myself, so it's purely a guess. Most to least shine: 1. Patriot Wax 2. Brilliant Glaze 3. Americana Wax 4. Buttery Wax 5. H2O Guard and Gloss 6. Detail Spray 7. Liquid Paint Sealant 8. Quick Sealant How would you rank them, purely in terms of shine that they produce? (Edited to fix ranking numbers - apparently I had two products ranked #3)
  5. Love the mints! Seems to be included randomly though, as I only get them every few orders or so.
  6. Haha I know what you mean about the jokes. My fiancé likes to make jokes about my "addiction" to washing my car too. I tell her "it's not an addiction, it's my form of therapy." Thank you for the kind words about our work in this field.

  8. Not sure why the picture isn't loading. I keep getting an error. Anyway, it's good to know that some separation is normal. Thanks for your replies!
  9. Not sure why my picture didn't load. I'll try it again.
  10. Is this level of separation normal for G&G? This happens overnight, even after shaking well. None of my other products have had this issue.
