  1. A deep scratch may require some light wet sanding, there is a video where Adam demonstrates using wet sanding to remove a deep scratch that the paint correction polishes didnt correct.

  4. oh yea, I love boar's head oven roasted turkey!
  5. Looks like detailersdomain.com has an Adam's boulder blonde boar's hair brush??? it has a longer handle, 20".
  6. I took this a few weeks ago at the end of a race weekend. I really like the lens flare.
  7. Live in Bergen, from Sussex. Welcome, I'm fairly new here as well.
  8. Landshark loses, he didn't read the first post about not posting your portfolio of all your photography magazine cover shots lol Great shots btw!
  9. After reading through the How to Photograph your car thread I started thinking a thread to just post up your random photos for those who are into photography whether you use a DSLR or a camera phone. The photos can be of anything from cars to nature shots! Also if you want to share you camera settings it's always nice to share for those who are interested in that information. Photos need to be somewhat current as well. Please try to just post a few pics at a time, not all the photos you have taken the past year. Blue Ford 90mm @ f/3.2, shutter speed 1/2500, ISO 200
  10. When I have the time I love shooting my car with my Nikon after a wash or even my racebike. I will have to say my iphone 6 takes amazing photos too, and it is always with me. Getting good car pics imo is all about the lighting and shooting from the right angle, not the camera. A great way to learn with a digital camera is trial and error and see what looks good... iphone pic :
  11. Looks awesome, the last pic the hood is sooo shiny!
  12. I have a glass coating so I'm not to worried about using a diluted APC on it. I think i will try some rinseless at 8:1 for bugs etc. on my next wash and go from there.
  13. I was thinking of picking up just rinseless, is waterless really that much better? Wouldn't a diluted APC work better for stubborn stuff the rinseless pre soak wouldn't remove?
  14. I love it more and more everyday. I have the turbo model and opted for mainly performance options, and I am very impressed with the car in terms of performance and as a daily. I came from a 911, and before that I had a trailblazer ss that I love and miss. I see you have a tbss, and all i can say is that the macan is not like anything else but takes so many good qualities from a sports car like a 911 and a sport suv like a cayenne/tbss/jeep srt and meshes them together perfectly.
  15. Northern NJ, sussex county. Yes, I had Modesta applied at Phil's shop Detailers Domain. I'm not too far from them and once I saw the work they do there was no other choice.
  16. Thank you... the pic is after a recent wash I did. I'm finally getting a hang of doing everything in the right order and proper technique is showing! Now how do I keep people from touching it???
  17. Hi everyone! I am new to Adam's polishes and detailing as well. I recently got a new car, Porsche Macan, a few months ago and unlike my previous ride I hope to keep her shiny for many years to come so I have a lot to learn. I stocked up on various Adam's products after getting my car coated with Modesta and the detailer recommended Adam's shampoo. That was just the beginning to my Adam's addiction and so far I am very happy with the products I have tried. The detail spray smells so good too! I have already learned so much from this forum reading old threads etc, on when and how to use the various products. The more I read tho, the more I want to order Adam's products. Thank you to the forum LOL
  18. Modesta paint coating cleaned with car shampoo and touched up with detail spray.
  19. will waterless work well to temove tar and road grine as well? and do you wash the car first before attacking tar and bugs?
  20. Hi, I have a Modesta coating on my car and im looking for the best way to remove sticky road grime, and bugs, etc from the vehicle without marring or scratching the finish. I feel i always make the mistake of using to much pressure. Is there anything that helps loosen and remove bugs and tar without harming a finish like Modesta? Thank you for any help.
