wely324 reacted to PT3 in Garage build... Great way to store your Adam's...!
Started putting stuff back into the garage. Pretty much everything is in there just maybe not it's final spot.
The cardboard boxes on the right are trash and the bucket, the creeper seat and yellow/black case along the front wall will be hung up or removed all together. Still have some things from the above storage to move to the shelves on the right wall. But we're in the home stretch now boys! Did I say how patiently (not) I'm waiting for the GT3...?!?!?!?! Ahhhh!!!!

That's the name of the game for any landscape photographer.
Multi is what I use on most landscape work. Spot or Average for the rest.
And I do take shots for my kids (my daughter & my dog) and other things for fun too.
^^ NOT a photoshop'ed image. Tried numerous time to capture the perfect splash from the lens mug.

I've just starting getting into it more seriously, bought most of the gear and been educating myself a lot lately on the subject. So far that's all I have worth showing.
f/4.8 1/30 Iso 100 18-140mm at 52mm Polarized filter (Probably should've gone with a smaller aperture)
F/16 1/15 Iso 100 18-140mm at 140mm

This is Portage Lake Alaska. I used full auto on my Canon xsi.
This is probably one of the best I've taken and one of my favorite scenery pics I've done.
I took this pic of a Dall Sheep with my new long range lens.

Making some progress on the Harley, still have a bit more to finish this weekend. Using #1 and #2 mainly, areas that aren't bad are just getting #2. A few pieces that are finished.

wely324 reacted to Ricky Bobby in Rinseless Wash Question
Yep. In the washer I use the 1-2 oz per load as directed of the concentrate, but as a pre-spotter I dilute it 3:1, a tip I picked up from Dave on the forum (BRZN) and following instructions on another brand's MF detergent so I tried it out and its great. I actually give all the towels a quick spritz or two of it on each side, regardless if stained. If they are stained I usually give a more concentrated spritz on the stain itself as well and then toss in the wash.
I'm all about making product go farther, but you knew that already lol! Give it a try.
In case you are going to ask as well, I leave my towels in the hamper personally and only pre-treat them when I'm ready to do a load. Haven't had an issue with stains remaining even if the towels sit, although many prefer to pre-treat right after use, if the towels are going to sit for a while without being laundered. Personal preference.
Also, diluted 3:1 MFR is a GREAT pad and applicator cleaner, really works well, helps me save APC.

wely324 reacted to Chris@Adams in Detail Spray Wipe Down.......
Took the GTO for a little spin so when I got home she got a DS wipe down. I can't tell you how many times I have wiped her down with DS or WW. Only 3 or 4 washes with water since new.....

wely324 reacted to cpetes in Official Beading Photo Thread
Decided to put a quick wash on the truck since it was a bit overcast and had a thin layer of dust on it. Nothing special but great bead action.
I have yet to get my orbital back up and running, and I'm thinking I need to ASAP because doing this truck by hand can take it out of ya. Truck has always been properly hand washed per Adam's video guides. It definitely does make a difference because their is very minimal swirls. I am very pleased with the products once again!
I clayed , hand revive polish, Americana about a week ago..
Finished wash
Of course my buddy had to help out
Cheers!

wely324 got a reaction from b_pappy in Metal Polish for Harley Chrome
I will definitely post up an after pic of the harley once I polish the chrome. I may even polish the rear fender, has some scratches from where the saddle bag top rests when there is no rear seat.
Here is a before pic, this is after a wash the other day. The bike is a 2010 Harley Davidson CVO softail convertible (saddle bags, passenger seat, and front windscreen all easily pop off in a minute or two). Exhaust is a vance & hines.

wely324 got a reaction from b_pappy in Metal Polish for Harley Chrome
I recently picked up some metal polish 1 & 2 as the chrome on my father's Harley needs some help.
I also ordered the metal polish pads, but only tested using a foam applicator today. WIll be attacking the rest of the bike within the next week now knowing that I have the right polish for the job!
Here is the front wheel before and after. I'm super happy how it cleaned up the chrome and made it nice and shiny!
