  1. How do you all change out the orifice?? I am having issues with my cannon as well.
  2. Just to clarify... When I said "laying into the pad" I meant the following. I had the speed on 6 (PC 7424) and applied enough pressure so the rotation of the pad disk was rotating slowly. I was told that method by Phil from Detailers Domain and they were mentioning that when Adam's came out to NJ for their Annual detailing meet. Is there another method I should try? I was using an Orange Foam pad.
  3. Wow so I am in the neighborhood then. I appreciate all the responses. I keep this car maintained well. She is garaged and not out in the rain. I don't know if it is the Audi clear coat but I feel the orange pad and orange cutting polish did not get it all and I was laying into the Porter Cable. Any suggestions? different pads? Micro fiber pad cut more?
  4. Hello fello fanatics! I am curious how long it takes everyone to complete a full detail. I just tackled my 2007 Audi RS4 today. I started at 9:30am with the wash and decontamination. I used the All Purpose Cleaner method in the Adams Foam Gun with Wash Soap. Then I sprayed the car down with a 50/50 mix of Wheel Cleaner and water in a spray bottle. I let that soak and then rinsed again. Using my Porter Cable I followed the wash up with Adams orange cutting polish, then Adams white finishing polish, and then sealed the car and wheels. I did not finish until 4:30pm! Is 7 hours the norm?? Ill post pics tomorrow. I was near dark when I was done. Still worth it though when you see the final result.
  5. Good to know! I am always wondering if what I am doing is working and also not causing swirls...
  6. Hey all, Just thought I would give my 2 cents. Not sure if this was talked about before. I am fairly new to the forum but have been using various Adams products for a few years. I recently been trying out the Waterless wash. I would use it as the videos say on my RS4 that is slightly dirty, nothing crazy. What I found that works awesome is doing a panel with the Waterless wash but then immediately after spray detail on the panel and buff off. The results I find are phenomenal and quick. I did the whole car in less than an hour. Feel free to comment within other tips.
  7. Thanks all! I appreciate the love. Now I have to read up on getting the paint to the next level.
  8. Thanks Dan! Yes she has KW V3's, H&R front and rear stabilizers, H&R 10mm spacers, and JHM short throw shift kit. Always washed in Adams, tires dressed with VRT, glass cleaner, and dried with great white micro fiber!
  9. Thanks for the add. What's up all. Here is my work in progress. Just picked her up. '07 Audi RS4
