Looks good!  I ended up putting 4 lights in my garage.  2 over the bed of your truck, and 2 over the hood of your truck.  Although you lose the outside most 2 with the garage door up, it's fantastic light when the vehicles are in the garage!

I thought about doing that myself. I still may go back and add the other two. It's really not necessary in my small garage, but a little overkill never hurt anybody lol.

I also bought an adapter that screws into the bulb socket that was in my garage so I could plug the light directly into that. This way the lights go on and off with the switch on the wall and you don't have to use a pull chain on the fixtures themselves. I'll take a picture of it tonight. 

Added some lighting and a cabinet for the junk that rarely gets used but can't be discarded. 

Lighting fiasco - my first mistake was thinking the people at Home Depot actually knew what they were talking about. Explained my wants, needs, and the space I was working with and was advised to buy a one 48" fixture with six T8 bulbs. I go home and install it and am thoroughly unimpressed. I get online to do some research (which I should have done beforehand) and come to find out the guy sold me a "high bay" fixture intended for ceilings 15'-40' tall, my garage has an 8' ceiling. The light just wasn't spreading out. It was disappointing to say the least

So I call up there the next day and actually spoke to somebody with at least minimal knowledge. He said I could bring it back and return it for what I really needed. So I uninstall, return, purchase two separate NON HIGH BAY 48" fixtures with four T8 bulbs each and reinstall. The output is amazing. I can't believe it took me a year to get around to this. Pictured below is a before and after of the single fixture high bay vs the current dual fixture setup and a pic of how dark it was with both cars in the garage with the single high bay setup. Yes, my wife's car fits on the other side of the garage with room to walk around on all sides. It's tight, but it works. Hence the painters tape line on floor. 

Cabinet - It's probably apparent that I have O.C.D. Not the kind where I have to turn door knobs a certain way or jump over cracks, but I definitely keep things neat and organized. I had this shelf with a bunch of junk on it that rarely gets used but can't be parted with. Bug sprays, ant killer, extra house paint, etc. It looked cluttered and bothered the heck out of me. Picked up one of those affordable plastic snap together cabinets and viola, problem solved. More shelves so everything is better organized and most importantly it's out of sight and out of mind. Leather conditioner is the best fragrance you can get IMO. I use it almost every wash for the look, protection, and smell lol

forgot to ask, are those 22 or 24 replicas?  If so, where did you get them?

24" . They are the old TX edition replicas. I get all of my reps from Factory Reproductions based out of Chino CA. They get theirs from the manufacturer that produces factory wheels for the big 3. That being said all of their reps balance perfect and they don't weigh a million pounds. Best reps on the market hands down. Don't be fooled by some of these other online companies.

This is a VERY rough profile of the door.  The peak in the rocker panel creates a sharp line in what is being reflected (which is shown by the arrows).

EDIT: Just realized you probably meant all the way down the door laterally rather than vertically....  That's a good point; the sky is probably obstructed by the building or some adjacent structure.

Right again on the door profile and the building blocking the rest of the reflection. This was an early morning picture from today.

It's just a reflection of the sky.

Just above the rocker panel? It looks like that is where the body line kicks out so it's a reflection of the sky.

You guessed it. That Adams shine reflecting like a mirror!

Once I get moved to Fort Worth for work, I would love to meet up some time and snap some pictures of our trucks together if you are interested! I think the contrast of the white v black, lowered v lifted, would look pretty cool!

I'd be down for that. I'm always taking pictures of this thing. The color is actually called tungsten metallic. It's like a really dark gray with a hint of bronze in it. It looks different in all types of light, and end up looking black in most pics that are taken in the shade lol.

Looks great. Adam's always has great products to offer us like the wheel woolie and side kick. 2 things i would have never bought. With Adam and his team doing there research and bringing great products to us, I caved and have them both. As for the chemicals, all top notch stuff. Use the glass cleaner in your house too, cleans better then windex, imo. Smells better too

I agree. That sidekick really made drying a breeze and not having stuff run out of my mirrors, handles, grille, etc is great for my O.C.D. 

I just recently made the switch to Adams and last night I got to put most of my new goodies to the test. To say I am impressed is an understatement. Everything worked great, looks great, and was super easy to use. 

Here are a couple of things that really stood out to me:

Sidekick - man that thing can move some air! Great for interior cleaning and exterior drying. 

Detail spray - great shine when used while drying, smells nice too.

Glass cleaner and glass towels - my windows have never been so clean!

Great White drying towel - After blowing off the excess water with the sidekick I was able to dry the entire                                              truck with just one Great White.

Tire shine - tires are high gloss black and there is no spin off down the side of the truck!

Wheel Woolie - made cleaning the wheels a breeze in conjunction with the wheel cleaner. 

Everything I used last night was great, the above mentioned items were just some of the ones that stood out to me. I think Adams just landed a new customer for life. 

Here is a pic of it from this morning. Cleanest it's ever been. 

You guys are missing the point. The wheel well liners on these trucks are entirely synthetic carpet. No matter how clean they are, they aren't rich black like if you had plastic ones and could use undercarriage spray. We are trying to find a way to make them nice and dark.

I didn't get to wash my truck tonight like I planned due to working late and the Stars game coming on, but I will tomorrow and I'm going to try a few things.

Keep us posted. I was just wondering this same thing. I'm going to wash mine tonight so I might try out some interior detailer on it or something. I'll report back.

Car looks great! I'd say that's damn good for your first attempt. So is the C6 the daily or is that wifey's car?

Did you use foam or MF orange pad? 

Since you are going to polish I would skip the initial IPA wipe down.  The polish will ensure that it is removed. 

Good idea. Save myself a step. Just wasn't sure if the paint correction polish would remove the Quantum sealant. Thanks for the info. 

Thanks for the insight guys. I knew somebody here would know more about it than I did. I didn't pay extra for it nor did I ask for it. The dealership I bought the truck from has it applied already to all the upper level trucks, corvettes, and camaros. I figured it was just a BS gimmick, but I didn't have a choice.

That being said, my intention is to remove it. I'm going to do an isopropyl wipe down, clay, then paint correction and polish, and finish with a seal. As we all know brand new factory paint is far from perfect. I can see some minor swirls under this "coating" that I assume came from the weekly lot wash before the coating was applied.

Are there any additional steps that need to be taken for paint correction on a vehicle that has Quantum Paint Sealant applied? I recently bought a 2016 Silverado and the dealership had already applied this "hard" paint sealant. 

I want to get all the contamination out of the paint, polish, and do my own seal. So will paint correction polish and an orange microfiber pad be a good starting point or do I have to do something else to get this Quantum stuff off?
