  1. I was curious myself. Not sure why an air compressor wouldn't work just as good as long as it didn't blow rusty, misty water out with the air? Unless of course the more focused air from an air compressor nozzle would somehow force water where it didn't belong?
  2. That cart is Awesome!!. Gonna need some details as I would like to make one as well. Where did you get the cart and $? If you don't mind. What size hole saw did you use? Is this for personal use or for a detailing Bus.?
  3. Welcome to the forums. Sheesh, bere I thought I was bad for placing my third order this morning. You went and got the whole enchilada right off the bat.
  4. From 1 newbie to another, welcome Kade. That certainty is some beautiful scenery, as well, the tent is sweet as well.
  5. Thanks for the replies. With Cruisin The Coast starting in 2 weeks, I'll, hopefully be out and about talking with a few of the local clubs. I wish that Adams had a booth set up there.
  6. It does help, thanks. There are a couple clubs in and around my area, I just didn't want to be "That Guy"..
  7. After getting bitten by the Adams detailing bug as well as wanting to keep my new ride as clean ( I'm slightly OCD ) as possible, I figure the next step would be to delve more into car/truck club's. Seeing as "Cruising The Coast" is just around the corner what should I look for when contemplating joining a club? My caveat is that my truck is not an early model, nor is it a semi early model, It's a 2016 model. Feeling pretty doofusy for asking this, but how idiotic would it be for me to want to join a local club seeing as most of the car's and trucks are early models and or customized to a greater/lesser extent? Again, my truck is nothing really super special as I haven't done any customization to it ( want to keep it under warranty ) yet, however IMHO it's a decent ride, comparatively speaking. Let er rip, I can take the good with the bad.
  8. Although not a professional, I wold think that adding a disclaimer to your auction bid item stating that you are not to be held liable for any defect's occurring from the services you rendered. As well, if you are contemplating doing this for some side $$ it would be prudent for you to open an LLC as well as insure your services against any unforeseeable circumstances that may arise during or after your work. Oh yeah!! Take as many detailed pictures as possible of the before and after. I for one enjoy drooling over the new details. Plus ot could save your bacon, should your winning bidder be " That person" Just my honest opinion.
  9. From one Mississippian newbie to another. Welcome.
  10. Ill make it easy for y'all. If you've ever seen the evolutionary chart. I'm second from the left :-)
  11. Again, thanks for the welcome. After speaking ( emailing ) with Bianca @ Adams, who was very enlightening as well as helpful in leading me in the right direction, she also offered some suggestions as to how I can keep my boat clean as well. I am sure that I am not alone in my product conundrum. After add the suggested products to my cart, it didn't look full enough. Soooo, I went shopping again. now my cart runnith over. and my wallet runnith away. Gonna have to save a couple more $$$$$$$ in order to make shipping pay for itself and satisfy my craving for a little bit..
  12. Thanks for the warm welcomes. In watching the Adams videos, especially #23 " Interior Dressing and Protection " mention was made that the Conditioner can be used on all surfaces that are not painted or the nav screen. My question is, most of the interior pieces that aren't leather/leather look alike are in fact painted. I.E. Door handle surrounds, Alum dash trim, etc. etc. How careful should I be with the stuff? Also, as there is no video with regards to using the interior cleaner, how, what and where should it be used? What should I not get the stuff on? I don't want to go and screw up the interior of my new ride. The wife would see to it that I had some place else to sleep for quite some time, if I did.
  13. I wanted to drop in and introduce myself. It was suggested by the good folks over on the gm-trucks.com forum that I traipse on over here and learn what I could about keeping my new truck in as pristine condition as possible. FWIW, the new truck is a 2016, GMC Denali 3500 in Iridium Metallic. Although it isn't a daily driver, I do drive it on weekends, dragging the boat to the lake or our 5th wheel to the campsite and yes, even as a grocery getter... Although I have always washed and waxed my previous vehicles on a regular basis and thought I was doing a decent job, it wasn't until I visited the Adams forum that I realized I was wrong. As a word of caution, I ask that you prepare yourselves now for the newbie questions that are sure to spew forth from my keyboard. Pat.
