Sorry for the delay... I was excited for the detail this weekend... but the full monty will have to wait until next weekend. I didn't have the time due to a busy Fathers Day weekend. Funny story though, I thought I will just do a quick foam gun bath on it and spray it down so it doesn't look so bad. Well I did that and was inspecting the paint with my hand on the hood and thought I'll just wash the hood... then well... I will just wheel clean the wheels, then felt guilty and got out the two buckets because I didn't want to rub dirt around.... then I detail spray dried, and was done right! no the tires needed a quick once over. so did those and rinsed, backwards processes I know. then added tire shine... Done! well I had five minutes before I had to go so a quick Interior Detail, oh and the glass was a mess... then the dash had over spray omg I can't stop!!!!!!!! Completely *** backwards car detail... it was like when you say Im only going to drink beer on the weekends, and when the weekend come you start plowing through all of it in the first hour! what a mess....

So I handed her the I pad and had her read our thread... you are all in trouble as well. Just kidding. I was expecting some bitchiness or laughter, but I got confusion from her??? She said what is this all about? You were doing what? and the best comment was.."I don't care if you wash it or not, I doesn't bother me!" UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Moral of the story... your wife probably doesn't notice how hard you work on her car to keep it clean... at least my wife doesn't. Its primarily our source of enjoyment. So the cat is out of the bag... After all of this the car doesn't look that bad. Big kudos to Quality Adams Products. The LPS and American protected the car amazingly well. The one morning drizzle we had last week rinsed away most of the dust and grime so easily and I am left with the occasional bird spots. Excited for the detail this weekend!

Came home and I thought she had gotten a car wash! The drizzle basically rinsed her car clean... I give up... If I can barely tell then she certainly won't. So I'm going to do a Full Detail Saturday. I don't think I can stand it anymore! It has been three weeks now. It is so dirty to me, BUT the use of Adams has definitely extended the level of shine. Really if you look at it only the windows look really bad... most people would probably see a shiny car still. DAMN YOU ADAMS! Had to redirect some detailing jones...work truck is tight now.

I walked by it today and shoke my head.... Chops... I'm now all into straight razor shaving... I posted a topic, what are your other vices and someone put up safety razors. Now I am hooked on everything straight razor and the process of... Helps a little but would sure like to detail the wife's car...tonight I will have the kids mention how bad it looks.

I'm in the process of trying an experiment. My wife always complains that every Saturday I spend a few hours "playing" with her car. Her car is always...ALWAYS clean, I do a wash each Saturday and usually a Waterless wipe or two during the week. Its our family DD so it gets dirty fast, but its silver so not to noticeable to the untrained eye or my wife. I began the experiment May 27th. So I am going into my second weekend and I haven't touched it at all! She still hasn't made a peep and I'm beginning to crack . Ill add before and after pics later today...

Time for a cigar tonight and tomorrow a trip to V's Barber is in order...
