  1. Not a No Parking sign, one of those ignored speed limit signs....for some reason, my Camaro wants to do the posted speed in MPH instead of the stated KMPH... stupid metric..LOL
  2. Thanks everyone, will go with fresh seal soon, americana and see how i can maintain that over the winter. Only good thing is the DD is white, so you don't see the salt stains as much.
  3. Hi Team, My daily driver lives outside year round.. I apply Paint Sealant on it minimum twice a year and use Buttery Wax in the summer. Now with winter approaching, what would be the best wax/protection that should be applied for harsh Canadian winters where we use way too much salt on our roads? Re-applying wax in the freezing temps may not be a viable option, so would Americana be a better wax to apply pre-winter? Thanks Greg
  4. Finally got some time to polish the wife's 2011 Avalanche... now to find time to put trim coating on the plastic... Before: After:
  5. Just did a strip wash, claybar, Finishing Polish and LPS to the daily driver... now that it sits outside 24x7 figured it could use some Adams love too...
  6. Hi, I have used Show and Shine since the original CDN site went down and have had great results. Shipping has been very prompt and reasonably priced, questions asked and answered right away and Don there has also been very good at helping me in getting him some new customers as well. I'm in Ontario, so when I place an order it has quick turn around via FedEx as they are only a few hours drive down the road. I appreciate the attention to customer service from this distributor and would recommend him to others and have done so as well. Greg
  7. Thanks guys....going to try the magic eraser path and condition afterwards.
  8. Hi everyone, my friend had a mishap in his truck and got some PL Premium glue on his leather seat. Tried to use Leather Cleaner with the cockpit brush and that helped lift it off a bit. Conditioned it with leather conditioner and sent him on his way for now. Any advise on how to get construction glue off leather?
  9. You counted the tiny holes...wow.. I would lose patience for that after counting about 10 of them..LOL
  10. All my reading has been that you need to remove any residue from polishing and have a good clean bare surface for the LPS to bond with. I washed then used my great white drying towel to dry, no detail spray as an agent as I didn't want to add anything to the paint before the LPS. Others may chime in too, I think some do an IPA wipe down before but I did a complete wash.. Just going from what I've learned here.
  11. hahaha.. I didn't realize that when I posted it.. yea.. I.P.A. is what she fetched..after polishing her car.. she didn't want to kill me..maybe if it didn't shine up she may have...
  12. Haha...good luck with that.. my sister and BBQ don't mix well.. but she does know where my beer fridge is to fetch some IPA's.
  13. I worked on it to her satisfaction, not mine.. could have done a bit more to really make it pop, but she wouldn't maintain it or probably notice....here is what I did: Wheel cleaner on Rims and Rubber cleaner on tires Foam Gun pre-wash with blue car shampoo Strip wash clay paint and glass correction polish with orange pad (bad swirls and scratches) (sister used Interior Detailer on inside while I polished) Foam Gun and wash with blue car shampoo to remove polish residue Liquid Paint sealant Sealed Glass while LPS was curing Brilliant Glaze Buttery Wax BBQ burgers and drink beer to relax afterwards.. paint was a mess before hand.. way better now and that process was from 10am to about 5pm with a momentary pause for lunch.
  14. After my sister saw my Camaro, she whined at me about polishing up her hurting Dodge Dart.. young teenage boys and a small garage equals lots of scratches and swirls in the paint... Before: After: most of the scratches are cleaned up a fair amount..some will need to be painted they are so deep, but she is happy... that's all that matters anyway... I better get a good Christmas gift from her...
  15. Thanks for the complement, but it's a 2015, Gen5 Camaro...Trying to keep it looking new while driving it as much as I can.
  16. In Honor of my US friends, this Canadian put some Americana Wax on the ride today...Happy July 4th!
  17. Thanks @Dan, I was assuming it was the new one, but with my limited sense of smell I wasn't sure...
  18. Colour or as it's spelled in the US, Color, I can work with...LOL Smell.. now that's something different.
  19. Good question, my sense of smell is pretty shot, thanks allergies for this, so I can't really tell. Might have to wait for the wife to come home and have her give it a sniff... her sniffer works too well...LOL
  20. So I ordered the "New" Interior Detailer kit from the US site to ensure I was to get the New product as sometimes the Canadian Dealers don't have the new product right away (assume they need to deplete old stock first) and now I'm wondering if the 16oz bottle is the New one or not since it's not labeled like the gallon is.... Any ideas?
  21. Manual transmissions are the latest in anti-theft devices...most kids can't drive them so my Camaro is safe...LOL
  22. So far I've been using only the leather conditioner on all my interior components, is there any benefits to using the TID over the LC? Does one have better sun protection vs. the other? What about the anti-static properties of the TID?
  23. I've switched over to buying from Show and Shine and so far very happy with the pricing and shipping rates, oh and no duty bills from FedEx after the fact. Bought stuff during the US Memorial Day sale and discounts were honored. They have now won my Adam's business and being someone that is brand loyal, I'm willing to pay a premium for what I feel is a premium product until something goes wrong with the process. Love how Adam's products have brought back to life my wife's '11 Avalanche with the Ceramic Trim Coatings and how my Camaro just shines from the polishes, waxes etc. Show and Shine has "fair" shipping rates and fast delivery, only thing missing is stickers and mints in my boxes, but I can live with that, the beer coolie (non-Adam's but might make a good new product) in my box was a nice touch to keep my beverage cool while washing the ride too.
  24. Sap is gone... sprayed the whole top with CG Soft top cleaner and used my cockpit brush to agitate it and big time rinsing. Top was previously sealed with their sealant, but don't like it's performance so unless Adam's comes up with a product, 303 will be applied to it soon. Thanks for all the advice.
