  1. Note to self.... Don't try to clean inside of windshield when it's -5*c out... glass cleaner freezes on contact to windshield...wait for warmer weather and deal with the dirty windshield...LOL Mind you turning car on and letting it warm up inside does help
  2. Hey Dan... 10-4 on that.. this one fell to the floor without me noticing ... she even chewed the bag it was in to get it out... she is fine...looked more like she wanted to shred vs. eat it... crazy husky!
  3. Looks like even dogs like the smell of Adam's products.... Dog tried to make my red hex applicator into a PacMan.. or it just smelled soo good from glaze residue that she had to try it... good news or Adam's.... I have to buy another one now...LOL
  4. Used extra detail spray to keep it lubed up... doesn't look like any clay left in the pitting or the small chips and glass came out super smooth... my Adam's glass sealant hasn't come in yet, so used up what was left of a different water replant. Will repeat the process next month and use the GS next time. Thanks for the advice!
  5. Hi All, Just looking to gather the opinions of more experienced detailers on something i was thinking of doing. My wife's truck 2011 Avalanche with around 110k miles on it has a filthy windshield. Was thinking of doing a decon on it using a clay bar, but it's pretty pitted from all those highway miles..Do you guys think that particles of clay might get trapped in the pitting and two stone chips on the glass? Should i use "extra" detail spray as lube to help prevent that? Don't want to make it messier than it already is. Thanks in advance... Greg
  6. Ahh... the challenges of living in Canada.... some toys get put away for a few months.... Time to maybe think of moving south of the border....
  7. Its mostly the front window, unless the pooch is panting in the back on the rear... I'll see if I can find the moisture control bag.... if not, maybe the previous post of a kitty litter sock may help.... a sock might also raise some questions from friends in the car as well....lol
  8. Woo Hoo...MB's in the Great White North... I ordered one.. still shows as not shipped yet... waiting with anticipation of something I don't already have in my kit... last time I got the Odor Neutralizer in an MB and was very happy with how it killed the smell of a leaky beer can right before the holiday spot check program... may have saved me a few trips to the breathalyzer due to my car smelling like a brewery. I do try to order from the .ca website as much as I can.. that extra $60-$70 charge from FedEx for brokerage is a killer!
  9. I'm wondering if the moisture is coming from a wet dog in the back of the wagon....coupled with wet hockey gear 3-4 times a week back there...Will try the dehumidifier trick and run the AC too...see if that helps things out. Thanks guys!
  10. Hi All, Every fall/winter, it seems my daily driver has an issue with the interior of the windows fogging up. It's a newer car, 2013 Toyota Venza and only does this when it's parked outside. If I garage part it overnight, no issues, only when left outside. I have tried the Rain-X fog solution, with minimal to no difference in the fogging. My question is, would using the Glass Cleaner and Sealant help on the inside? Not sure if the sealant is meant for inside of windshield as well as outside. Thanks Greg
  11. I had an incident over the weekend when returning empty beer cans, one fell over and had some "swill" still in it... ugh.. car smelled like a brewery... coming into the Holiday Season with spot checks everywhere, thought this would be a good test of the ON. Like others stated, pulled the trigger on the bottle maybe once too many times, but wow.. no old beer smell in my car and no need to explain to Officers why my car smells like beer. Great product and good to remember not to use it excessively. Next test will be when the wet stinky dog gets in the car after walks in the snow... she can get rank during the winter..so lets give this the ultimate test.
  12. Thanks guys.. .Ragg Topp it is... Until Adam's comes out with something better.. dam this addition to a shiny car...LOL

  15. Hi All, I have searched the forums and only found one thread on cleaning/protecting convertible tops, dating back to 2012. The reply's stated that Adam's did not have a product for this and recommended RaggTopps cleaner and protection. Is this still the case, is Adam's coming out with any fabric soft top cleaners or protection? Thanks... Greg
  16. Success!!! Clay bar, correction polish, finishing polish and 99% spot free! Didn't want to try the steel wool.. not that confident yet. Sealed up the glass after with a product I already had, might try the Adam's glass sealer when I run out. Thanks for all the advice everyone.
  17. Is there a recommended temperature range to use this product? Coming into winter months up here in Canada and want to use this on my wife's Avalanche. Thanks
  18. Great tips... Does anyone know where I can get a sample size of the Revive Polish, or will the Finishing Polish work just as well?
  19. My 2011 Avalanche has some nasty water spots on the back removable window. I tried to use a water and vinegar mix to no avails. Wondering if clay bar and correction polish would be my best option. What has others used to get rid of those pesky spots? Greg
  20. I just used this on my wife's '11 Avalanche and she was so impressed, she thought it looked new again! Great products with great results on her truck....Happy wife = more Adam's product on order. Next up, try the new ceramic trim coating on the fading plastic on her truck....
  21. Hi, I've heard nothing but good things about Adam's products and have jumped in with both feet! Have over $300 worth of product on the way to make my black Camaro shine...might try them on my wife's black Avalanche as well.
