  1. So I have some bug goo stuck on the front of my vehicle from a couple weeks ago. (I know, I know, that's ridiculous. But military life gets in the way sometimes) I was wondering if anyone knew of a good way to remove stuck on bug goo? I have a decent selection of base level Adam's products, but I'm brand new here and don't want to do anything incorrectly. Thanks in advance, my detailing sages.
  2. iRch, Thank you so much for this post. I also just bought a brand new vehicle with leather interior. I also just bought the leather interior cleaning kit (conditioner and cleaner). I was going to hit it this weekend with both, just cuz I feel better cleaning everything since other people had test driven it and such. But now I'm comfortable just using the conditioner, thanks for keeping us newbies in check.
  3. Thank you very much. I love how understanding this community is toward people who are just starting out. You guys rock!
  4. I know I'm going to sound stupid, but do you hand sand or machine sand?
  5. I'll be there! I can't wait to meet everyone and support a great cause for a sister service!
  6. This community, the rapport that Adam has with his customers, the incredible customer service they provide, and the quality of the products make it all worth it. There's a reason other companies offer such drastic sales...
  7. What do you use the small one for on the interior? Asking for a friend... haha
  8. Trash bags work pretty well. Just cut a small straight line perpendicular to the opening at the top and use that cut to go over the axle as you put the bag over the top of the tire so the opening of the bag is on the ground. Then you can tuck it under the tire on the bottom. Does that make sense?
  9. Great break down, I'm just responding so I can find this easier later.
  10. Thanks Brian! That car is gorgeous by the way!
  11. Haha, indeed I did. I was in intel for my first 6 years. Transitioned to aircraft maintenance for the next 4.
  12. Thanks! I've seen the wealth of knowledge already, and I'm stoked to be a part (even if that part is just as a sponge for learning for a while, haha)
  13. Chris, Thanks for the welcome! And I might just have to take you up on that offer... Any chance you would be willing to meet me on a weekend and walk me through my first detail? It should be quick since the vehicle is new, and I'll buy you a beer.
  14. Thanks for the welcome! I can't wait to start taking better care of it than I do of myself. haha. I have definitely looked into the kits, I've already got a couple in my cart that look like they save quite a bit over buying pieces separately. And you're welcome, I appreciate the acknowledgment.
  15. Hey guys and girls! My name is Dan, and I'm new here. I'm in the Air Force, so I move around a lot. I actually just switched from the enlisted side and got my commission. So now I'm in the pipeline training to be a pilot, which I'm very excited about, but it also means I'm moving around even more than usual. My home is currently in South Dakota, but for the next few weeks I'm just outside of Colorado Springs. Just close enough to make a trip to the World Headquarters... lol I actually haven't made my first order yet, I plan to within the week, I was just kind of hoping to make it in person (if I can get an afternoon free since HQ is closed weekends). But I'm currently in the research phase, trying to decide what to buy but keep enough money for rent, haha. I want EVERYTHING. I have driven older cars my whole life because of money. But as a congrats gift to myself for commissioning I bought my first ever new vehicle and I want to take the best care of it I can from the beginning. And as far as I'm concerned, the best equals Adam's. I've watched every video and had multiple tabs open to the store for 4 days straight, haha. Here are some pics of my new baby, the new Honda Ridgeline!
