  1. Dear lord....I need an excuse NOT to spend more money on Adam's - you aren't helping me, Chris! LOL.
  2. Awesome - thanks, Chris. That definitively tells me what I needed to know (i.e. someone my dad's size or larger actually using the stool). Appreciate it! Thanks again to everyone who responded!
  3. I certainly hope so, Chris! Thanks, Brian - that's reassuring!
  4. Thank you, Rich - I appreciate your input. I also got the trunk organizer for him as well and will prefill it with a few bottles of product & some MF towels.
  5. Hi, all- I was just wondering if anyone knows an approximate weight limit for the wheeled detailing stool. I hurried up & made a purchase during the current sale with the intention of giving the stool as a Father's Day gift. But after making the purchase, it occurred to me that my dad is a big guy - pushing 300 lbs - and that I should have asked this question prior to buying. I just saw that the stool was height-adjustable and initially focused on that feature because he's also very tall. I can always keep the cart for myself if need be (not the worst option by any means ), but figured I'd pose this question to the Forum in advance of my dad possibly breaking the stool and then none us being able to use it. Thanks in advance!
  6. Happy Thanksgiving, all! Just wanted to give a shout-out to Grabiak Chevrolet in New Alexandria, PA. I'm in the area for the holiday and forgot to bring my Adam's supplies with me (not only for my own personal use but I wanted to detail my parents' vehicles as well while I'm staying at their house). I was very happy to see that Grabiak's is a distributor that is only about 10-12 miles away. So I swung by the dealership on Tuesday....was greeted by a very friendly & helpful staff....and was quite excited to basically see a separate Adam's shop adjacent to their showroom. They pretty much had everything - including the new ultra foaming shampoo, hand wash, holiday detail spray & holiday interior detailer. Even though I live out of the area, the staff suggested that I sign up for their loyalty program - which gave me an automatic $15 off of my order. Nice! So if anyone is in southwest PA and looking to pick up some Adam's products, stop by Grabiak Chevrolet on Route 22 in New Alexandria - they are really great!
  7. I'm late in posting an update, but the Visco clay bar & Revive w/ blue hex-grip applicator completely removed the black scuff from my door. And from what I can see, they didn't introduce any swirls or marring of my paint, so I'm thrilled with the results! Thanks again for the input here & thank you to Adam's for top-notch products that work well with minimal effort!
  8. Goo Gone - there's something that I would've never even thought of. Thank you, Chris!
  9. Thanks for the input, Trevor & Michael - I appreciate your responses. I'll give it a go (probably Saturday) and hopefully I'll be able to remove it myself. Thanks again!
  10. Edit: Sorry - right after I posted the following, I realized that it probably should have gone under "Paint Correction & Polishing". My apologies! Hi, all. So as I left work today and walked out to my car in the parking lot, I found a nice, black scuff smack in the middle of my rear passenger door (I didn't take a pic but can do so tomorrow if that will help guide any responses). Needless to say, this discovery was immediately followed by loud profanity - and I guess I'll find out tomorrow if anyone from the HR dept. was within earshot. Anyway, there fortunately isn't a dent in my door. As I ran my hand over the scuff mark, it felt smooth. I even gently took my fingernail across it - I couldn't feel any roughness or catching. Based upon this, I'm hoping that the mark is confined to just the surface. My question is this - I do not own an orbital polisher (nor have I ever used one). I do, however, have a new Visco clay bar, a bottle of Revive and a blue hex-grip applicator. Do you guys think those products might help? If so, would you recommend one over the other or would I be better to use both (i.e. clay first followed by Revive)? Any input would be appreciated. If at all possible, I'd like to avoid the dealership and paying out the wazoo if this is something that I can possibly do myself. Thank you in advance.
  11. Hi, Shane - and welcome from a fellow Yinzer! (I was born & raised in the Monroeville area & then lived in Moon before moving to MI a few years ago). Anyway, nice-looking CX-5 and you're definitely in the right place when it comes to keeping your ride like new!
  12. While I'm quite excited about the prospect of new products (especially a Pumpkin Spice Interior Detailer) AND a 15% off sale, my wallet has officially threatened to file a restraining order against me if I continue to subject it to such financial abuse.
  13. Thanks, Lenore, for the tips! I am definitely going try it out!
  14. Yep - what Eric said! It really does make a car "pop" with shine. I haven't tried it yet on my interior windshield, but that's on my "to do" list!
  15. No - Revive is still available. Plus, the two products have very different primary functions so they aren't interchangeable.
  16. I absolutely love the Glass Sealant - it could possibly be my favorite Adam's chemical product (if not, it's definitely in the top 3). It works extremely, extremely well. I can't really say how long it lasts by itself because I also use the Glass Boost on it (plus, I reapply the Glass Sealant probably more often than I need to because I want to keep its performance at its peak - before the sealant even begins to wear off). But I easily get a few months out of the Sealant & Glass Boost combo. This sounds crazy, I know, but I still smile every single time it starts raining and I get to watch the water fly off the windshield. I drove to work yesterday in the rain and didn't even need to use my wipers until I got down under 35 mph (and I last applied Glass Sealant in July, I think - using Glass Boost just once in that time period). I also like the fact that I seem to have less water spotting on the glass after rainstorms than I used to get prior to using the sealant. If you're only going to get one product at a time, I would get the actual Glass Sealant first and then the Glass Boost later. By itself, Glass Sealant would provide better results than just the Boost alone, in my opinion.
  17. Wow - I'm impressed! You did a really great job!
  18. Hi, Richard - and ! You're definitely in the right place - between the Forum and the website, there is a wealth of info from which to draw. Be sure to check out all of Adam's product videos (both on the main website and YouTube) - they are exceedingly helpful!
  19. While I haven't tried them on my leather sofa (yet), I completely agree about getting better results. I typically use Wilson's leather lotion on my bags & jackets, but Adam's actually worked better. It went on more evenly, I used less overall product and it smells great. Needless to say, it's goodbye Wilson's!
  20. I wish I would have thought to take a "before" picture, but the Leather & Interior foam cleaner followed by application of Leather Conditioner did wonders for my DH (daily handbag ). I was surprised at the amount of dirt that was removed (especially from the handle area) - as the bag appeared to be pretty clean just by looking at it - and the conditioner smoothed away several scuff marks. Using the red premium interior dressing applicator made it very easy to evenly apply the conditioner into folds, under straps & around the hardware. Very happy to have another practical use for these products!
  21. Personally, I spray rinse first in order to knock off all of the debris & dirt that is easily removed with just the force of the water....then I hit the remaining bug splatter & dried-on stuff with Waterless. While the Waterless is working its magic, I start washing. By the time I get to the pretreated areas (which usually tend to be the lower parts of the car), the splatter & debris wipe off easily. If there's a particularly stubborn spot, I just spray it with a little more Waterless and try again in a couple minutes. I love Waterless for spot removal of things like bird bombs. I keep a bottle in my car at all times just for that purpose. For some reason, the birds that fly over the parking lot at work seem to be very active in that regard.
  22. Hi, Don - and ! Now please pardon me as I go get a towel to wipe the drool off of my keyboard (your Ferrari is jaw-dropping AMAZING).
  23. Yes, thank you for the review - I was wondering how the new towels performed. I think I might have to place another order during this current sale and get a few!
  24. Good questions - I'm interested in this general topic as well. I don't have a ceramic coating on my vehicle either but I received a bottle of Ceramic Boost in my last Mystery Bucket. I plan to search some of the previous threads to see what related info I can gather but just haven't gotten around to doing so yet. And with all that being said, I see that this was your 1st post so welcome to the Forum, Dion.
  25. Pumpkin Spice products are live - along with a nice 15% off Fall sale!
