  1. Has anyone ever seen what tobasco does to a penny? I'm not sure about any other metals but just putting tobasco on a penny without scrubbing will make it look new. Imagine what it does to your stomach.
  2. I just got the six pack of sprayers and they are the ones with rubber triggers.
  3. I was wondering that myself. Not everbody can wash their cars indoors in the AC. I would think you should get the soap off before it dries.
  4. When using the foam gun is there any need to presoak the car with plain water? And after using the gun should the suds be rinsed off before moving on to the 2 bucket wash?
  5. How do you keep track of which wash pad is which (top of car pad and bottom of car pad) and which applicators or mf towels belong with which products? Also do you let the wash pads and dry towel dry before sealing the bucket? Thanks
  6. Has anyone wrote up a list start to finish of a full detail? Maybe have one that would include hand polish steps and another that would include machine polish steps. Also wait times between polishes, glazes or waxes.
  7. I have just gotten my fist batch of adam's products and I just wanted to do everything as correctly as possible from the start. And finding a good method for this would be a big help. And space isn't really a issue in the garage for these items.
  8. Speaking of extreme temperatures. How long can the products be left in the high/low temperatures? The reason I ask is they go through shipping which can be too cold or too hot for a few days at a time. And also what products do the temperatures not affect? Thanks
  9. No ideas? Maybe just throw them all in a bucket and guess. Just kidding
  10. Will these be available for purchase without buying a whole kit?
  11. I was wondering how everyone is storing and keeping the applicators seperate. I am mainly looking for ideas and how many applicators and MF towels I need. Example- 1 storage bin for VRT with a applicator and a MF towel for wiping off excess, 1 bin for window washing MF towels and so on. I bought 8 shoebox size rubbermaid containers at walmart for a start and now I need some ideas on how to label and seperate them. Also how do you label/seperate stuff like wash pads? Such as if you have a good pad for paint, another for lower body paint and maybe one for wheels or door jambs. How would you know which one is which? Thanks again.
  12. Congrats, and what kind of bike did you get?
  13. Tell me about it. It takes me a week to get the stuff. I hate to wait but 2nd day is way too expensive. Oh well it's worth the wait I suppose.
  14. Welcome aboard. I'm a newbie as well. I haven't heard anything but good about the Adam's products so happy detailing.
  15. Tell me about it. I'm about 425.00 lighter already and I have never even used the product, and I haven't even gotten it yet.
  16. Thanks and our name is a good one, although not very rare.
  17. A.J. Actually I have a 2006 Ford F-150 Larriot and I think the color is smokestone (It's like a silver kinda). It is in fairly good condition so I dont know if it would be a good demo or not but I would be more than happy to let you make that decision. I will be there and it being a corvette show makes it even better. I've been checking out the C6 Z06 and hope to get one someday, but that may be a little while.
  18. A.J. that would be awesome. What type of event do the have going on at the Hofbrauhaus? I will be there. I just watched your videos on the Porter Cable last night. They are a huge resource as I've never used a buffer and I feel like I could give it a shot now. I don't know about others but for me it's people like yourself that make the Adams product so much more than just the high quality product it is. It is so good to see how highly qualified people like yourself use the products and show us amateurs how it's supposed to be done. It's makes things much easier for me. Thanks so much
  19. I'd like to thank everyone here for the great tips and support. And I also look forward to receiving my first order next monday to get started detailing my wife's 2008 Accord and my 2006 F-150 extended cab Larriot. Thanks again.
  20. That waterless solution looks awesome, but I still would be a little worried even with using a compressor to blow the gravel dust off of there being a possibility of swirl marks from the grit still left over. Any thoughts?
  21. Well my driveway is actually 250' long but it is right off of a private gravel drive that my father owns and he would never flip the bill for asphalt, so gravel it will stay. His driveway is about 300' long with pavers and it seems like the weeds really grow wild through the pavers.
  22. What would be the best way and product to shine up a chrome grille that is made of plastic? I didn't know how durable the finish is on these chrome painted plastics. Thanks
  23. The driveway is about half a mile long and extra wide so that will probably never happen. But I wish I could afford to pave it, if not only for the sake of keeping the cars clean. I thank all of you for your quick responses. It's great that a product has a great backing and lots of people to get ideas from. I'm sure I will be extremely happy with the products, and look forward to chatting with you guys again soon. Thanks again
  24. Thanks for all the advice. It looks like I will just have to do a full wash to keep it clean. It's not too bad except when it doesn't rain for a while, and then the dust is really bad. I'm sure the waxing will help though. How is the VRT as far as attracting dust?
