  1. Depends on what you have done to your rims. The TRC will degrade any wax or sealant. I have paint sealant on my rims so I only use a degreaser when I am going to reapply the sealant.
  2. I would imagine mold would be the worst that could happen. Maybe something more? You can stick them in the wash machine. Cold with scent and dye free detergent. Dry on air dry or low heat. No linens or dry sheets.
  3. Love the F8! A lot of people like to use the powerstop pads. Not ceramic, cuts the dust and probably cheaper.
  4. Yea this stuff works great. My first week using it and it has saved quite a bit of time. I almost went through the entire bottle in a week though with 4 uses. Definitely going to have to go with the rinseless diluted from now on.
  5. WOW! I need to get in the resell game apparently if people are willing to pay hundreds for that stuff. People make no sense lol
  6. Hey paint corrected, brilliant glaze and patriot waxed my challenger too! Wish the lighting in my garage was better...
  7. Tomorrow at 6pm EST appears to be the release date according to their instagram.
  8. Could be wrong but I don't think there is a difference in the amount of foam between the two so it comes down to how you care for it.
  9. Not sure on what you will need to take scratches out but rotary with cutting compound to microfiber and heavy is a wasted step IMO. Once they are out they are out. No need to continue to dig in and I would test the waters to go straight from rotary cutting to finishing polish. Maybe you need the correcting polish in between but less steps the better to save clear. I only use rotary and tend to only do 2 steps on my Dodge. Either cutting compound to finishing polish or correcting polish to finishing polish. Either way works great for me.
  10. Took the time to finally do a wheel off cleaning. These wheels are 3 years old. While I’ve always sealed them I have not taken them off to do a ‘correction’. I did not realize how bad they needed it till they were off. Put some brilliant glaze on after the sealant to finish it off. The video shows it better but doesn't work to well on here so I snapped a portion of the before and after.
  11. How much do you dilute the wash & wax? Does it remove/lift grime better if stronger/less dilution? I need to start doing this. Right now I just waterless wash on the wheels.
  12. Any degreaser will work but it will remove or diminish wax and sealant. In my experience it is more chemicals and less rag/sponge. Degreaser will break them down enough to wipe off with any rag. If you do not want to diminish your wax or sealant I've been told, though haven't tried yet, that waterless wash (or rinsless diluted) will work without diminishing wax or sealant.
  13. 'Worth it' is obviously going to be different among users but I like it. I also believe it is a safer method of washing then without it. The soaps are ph neutral which help prevent water spots as well. The whole point is to prevent minor scratches which prevent paint corrections which saves clear coat. If your concerned with any of that than I'd say its worth it.
  14. I only know of one wheel cleaner that says it does not effect sealants/wax. Mods, please remove if wrong but its by dodo juice. Eco WC 'could weaken' sealants as I was told in the thread below. http://www.adamsforums.com/topic/34518-eco-wheel-cleaner-as-bug-and-tar-remover/?page=0#comment-533379
  15. Yea I figured a good scrub happened lol. I don't know much about the undercarriage spray. Is its longevity pretty good? As good as that wheel well looks I wonder if it would be good as an under hood application as opposed to VRT. I like a little more shine than VRT gives. Probably could search for this answer but I am being lazy.
  16. Wow thats impressive. Almost wish my car wasn't so low so I could use some. LOL
  17. I have gloss black wheels as well. I would not use a brush unless absolutely required. Black just show scratches way to easily. Not worth it to me. The new wheel wash mitt works great and is only $10. I have used it a couple times now and its awesome. Don't know how I got by without it. As others stated, sealing them will help clean immensely and WC won't be required near as much.
  18. If its yours, Dr. ColorChip would finish that off perfectly. Its great stuff for filling.
  19. Can confirm. It says do not let dry. Just an FYI. The Eco WC does not contain any iron activator and wont work for paint decon like WC or iron remover.
  20. There is only one that I know of right now. I'd like to see more. Maybe its just me that wants to see more? I realize this is backwards of the chemicals typically used but something that would help losen grime but still require scrubbing. My barrels are typically a pain with out wheel cleaner but all cleaner strip the sealant. Anyway just a thought.
  21. Think I know the answer to this already but figured I'd ask. Can you use the Eco wheel cleaner as an Iron remover? Description says it contains no iron activator so I am assuming the answer is no or not as helpful. Hoping I am wrong. I realize the new Iron Remover is out but bought some of this with the wheel mitt and hoping to hit two birds with one stone.
  22. Yea I saw that. Didnt realize you could see the labels though. Looks like detail spray, tire shine and interior detailer.
  23. Saw a post on the untamed new stuff. Looks to be shoe cleaner......
